Mm..only about as solid as we’ve read in these articles? I’d have to search and poke around to see if I can find anything more on this though if Jeffco denied Sarah herself from seeing the email, I’d imagine that they’d intentionally omit mentioning it as evidence in the 11K. I’m guessing that Sarah told the interviewer in the article that she somehow found out from Jeffco that Eric had written her but that they decided not to release the contents either to her or the public. It sure is curious why they wouldn’t do so, isn’t it? What do they have to hide by denying her a personal email from her friend? Maybe what (and how) Eric wrote to Sarah would humanize him just a little too much and go against FBI lead investigator Dwayne Fuselier kneejerk conclusion from reading Eric’s journal that he could only be a psychopath. As much as we’d like to believe that the authorities are obligated to legally release evidence, the reality seems to be that they don’t have to release anything at their discretion. After all, look at the Basement Tapes and the other case evidence they arbitrarily destroyed without public knowledge.
