Yes, the Ever-lasting contrast. Since existence has known, the 'fight' between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good. My fav. contrasting symbol, because it is so true & means so much – the battle between good & bad never ends… Here we ponder on the tragedy of Dylan Klebold.
From the Columbine Report, document 4100-4200, page 77:
Account of Brock Rembold:
“Brock was asked how he could positively identify this person as Dylan Klebold [Dylan was walking on a set of stairs during the massacre when Rembold saw him]. He stated he has had contact with Dylan in the past because Dylan is such a fan of the Boston Red Sox’s and they talked about the team before. He also stated that when he leaves his 3rd hour government class that he normally would pass Dylan in the hallway, because Dylan had that same class 4th period and they saw each other quite a bit, passing in the halls. He also stated that Dylan has a quite distinguishable chin, and there was no question when he saw Dylan on the stairs that he knew it was Dylan Klebold.”
