If you’re one of the people that try to argue that Eric and Dylan had no reason to be upset because “everyone gets bullied,“ then you are also part of the problem.

What kind of message are we sending if we tell kids that being a bully is okay but being hurt from bullying isn’t?

This.^^ or “they weren’t any more bullied than anyone else in the school.” minimizing bullshit. Still does not make it okay.

A lot of people say that Brooks Brown was a pathological liar, I know that in some situations people lie so they won’t get hurt or find out something bad. But with Brooks why did he have to lie? I wonder if you have a theory about this or not?

I don’t know if I’d call him a pathological liar but certainly he distorts things by taking facts and embellishing or exaggerating the reality of it to make it seem more attractive or interesting and by extension, making himself seem ‘cooler’.  That was the case for him in High School but classmates tended to see through his obvious, boasting distortions.  The stuff that came out of his mouth just made Eric lol in annoyance at Brooks’ fake bullshit.  Brooks admitted himself to being perceived by others as arrogant and egotistical during his very short stint on Tumblr.  You could imagine that a strong motivator for such a personality type would be to spin information in an attractive, larger than life format which draws attention to himself as the foremost source of knowledge and information. It is overcompensation for his insecurity and lack of self esteem. We can all hope that as he grows older and is working through things in therapy that he is not doing as much of this compulsive behavior as he used to do.

I don’t know if that anon was trying to seem hateful but they both would’ve shot all of us. We aren’t there friends we just know of them.

Well, I didn’t take it as hateful but honestly, drawing this conclusion isn’t really any great revelation or epiphany for me or many others here on the tag. We’ve already ‘went there’ long ago that most people unknown to the two would’ve been fair game on that day. But you know, some here, sadly, even like to fantasize that would be their actual fate too, going out by E & D’s hand.  But where I go when someone drops this kind of blanket statement is “shrugs” duh?   The need to impress such a comment makes me wonder what the intent behind it is for. Is this suppose to be somehow *gasp* shocking or something?  lol  We are all aware the these two were cold blooded killers on 4/20.  Yes, they would’ve likely killed many of us as that was their plan for that day. Okay, moving along now, next question? 

oh i remember when devon made a reference to sabrina (brooksie and sabrina) in that note (she also mentioned dylan ‘quacker’). LOL it makes sense that brooks would date a girl outside CHS… all the girls who knew him there were well aware that he was a fibber…

i asked if you used functions to type the boys and you didn’t respond…you just linked videos going off the descriptions and not the functions. eric was such a ne user. intj’s don’t use ne, they use ni. and i’m not sure for dylan but i think i can see some ni in him, which is why i went for infj instead of infp. eric has been typed as an 8w9 before and dylan as a 4w5…entp’s are almost always type 8 and infj’s are almost always type 4’s/5’s. are you familiar with the functions?

The function stacking of ENTP in particular doesn’t match Eric.  

“Curious, communicative with a need to challenge, ENTPs love the intellectual debate, are spontaneous, and assertive.”  Anyone who’s seen the Eric in Columbine vid can tell he was not any one of those things. He debated things in private, didn’t partake in convo readily with others.  

The ENTP has incredible people skills and will enthuse and entertain people who will want to be part of their set. However they are not really emotional and so will move on easily when they get bored.“ This doesn’t fit Eric because he didn’t have great people skills and he was as emotional as a basketcase   

Not to mention that the function stacking for an ENTP is closest to the function stack for a freakin’ psychopath. o.O.  Also, Eric had razor sharp focus with his ideas and he had follow through and made use of those concepts.  Just look at his long-term goal with NBK.  He didn’t just come up with a bunch of ideas and drop the ball.   As for Dylan, it’s a lot harder because INFJ/INFP tend to mistype as one another, and proving one over the other would mean fine-tooth-combing through his entire life again. I personally believe he is an INFP though he’s pretty close to INFJ if you compare. At the end of the day, it’s all a matter of personal opinion.

Thank you for your answer to my CVA question, investigating a bit more, I can say 95% sure that police made him delete all his accounts because of the “bomb planting footage”…. Another time stupid JeffCo decision (as always)

Well, that’s a bit ridiculous seeing as CVA broke that news with his video exactly one year ago to the month.  Westword finally caught on and wrote an article about it last July and Jeffco’s response to the news was very apathetic: “This is a closed investigation, and we no longer have anything of evidentiary value to evaluate.”  

Given that, it hardly makes any sense for Jeffco to wait an entire year to bust CVA for outing the bomb planting discover (which, btw, he didn’t originally discover the footage – someone else did and he credited them.)  

The footage is not illegal as it’s part of the CCTV footage that was officially released to the public years ago.

Plus, even if the authorities decided to go after and delete a particular youtube channel, it’s rather pointless since many people saved that video file and have the bomb planting vid up uploaded on their own channels – plus, a new one that possibly shows Dylan planting the bomb (I’m skeptical on that one, tbh). If Jeffco/the police/the authorities keeps their eye on youtube (which they likely do with most internet social media and video sites and forums), there are far more questionable content to yank than CVA’s which is research driven, having absolutely no bias toward E & D and certainly not glorifying the dudes nor encouraging anyone to follow in their footsteps.  I hardly see the threat, and again, that’s a side from the fact that it’s a whole year later.  So, why bother now?  Idk.  To me, the “CVA got in trouble with the police” rumor just doesn’t make much logical sense to me. *shrugs* 

Have Brooks attended the prom? And if so with whom?

005005: Patrick Kelly said that during the 1998/1999 school year at Columbine High School, Brooks Brown was engaged to an Arapahoe High School student by the name of Sabrina (LNU). He said it is his understanding that Brooks Brown and Sabrina have since broken up their engagement.

Brooks and Sabrina had broken it off right before senior prom so Brooks did not attend.

Last thing CVA talked about was that he was searching for the “Dylan eating a donut” video..I know people have asked you about him but I think something bad happened to CVA, probably someone reported him due to some of his videos or something… I NEED HIS VIDEOS BACK, like he discovered the bomb planting footage…

Aw, that’s great he was trying to locate the ‘Dylan eating a donut’ video. 🙂   I recall I’d replied to a post and mentioned that others over the years had been looking for it and hit a dead end and I noticed he liked that particular post of mine. 

I absolutely do not think he deleted voluntarily because of the odd way he just vanished and every scrap of his social media is gone. It’s not like just the CVA youtube channel got taken down for ToS but everything is gone.  I had also had heard that his email was no longer working as well but I don’t know if this is just a rumor. Given that he is in the military, perhaps someone snitched on him as to what his side hobby was and he was asked to comply with removing all traces of infamous criminal case pastime or they did so for him.   A conspiracy theory might be that he stumbled upon something he shouldn’t have in his sleuthing around for all things Columbine and was locked down and put under investigation.  But that is just an extreme speculation and we shouldn’t believe that’s the reality just because we ‘went there’ mentally with it. So, don’t freak. 😉 The fact is that everything disappeared over night, and we know CVA loved what he was doing too much with the channel, and had far too many followers, to just suddenly decide to quietly call it a day.  I expect eventually, he’ll come up for air at some point in time when he’s distanced enough from whatever happened – or-  friends of his in the community will let us know what happen. Until then, we’ve just got to sit tight, send CVA some positive vibes and continue to be on the look-out for any forthcoming information.

In the meantime, a fairly significant amount of CVA’s videos have been saved and uploaded on their (hopefully) temporary repository channels – until the dude is back.  I don’t believe this is all of his stuff but it’s better than nothing!
