If you mean late 30 year old male bods that’s correct. They would basically be stockier and a bit thicker around the middle like how Brooks Brown turned out.  If they kept in shape and exercised they’d still look pretty decent and not too ‘idgaf dad-like’ with love handles and a massive beer gut.  But even Brooks struggles with his weight these days..so he’s got to diet and exercise.  His weight goes up and down and sometimes he looks paunchy.  As teenagers, they ate and ate massive quantities of (junk and fast) food, sat around and played vid games all day and looked skinny as bean poles. Eventually, as they mature and grow older, their metabolism slows down and fux ‘em up.

Unless of course, he reasoned that it wouldn’t matter because he would die too within the hour and they would unite in the Halcyons.  But this is hypothetically speaking here: I’m not at all suggesting that Rachel was The One.  Just, that would be the easy justification there.. 

Then again, like I’ve said before, they both knew that anyone and everyone was fair game once NBK started even if either one killed people the either might have liked a little or a lot. No offense, nothing personal, man..it’s just what you do during A Two Man War Against Everyone Else.  My gun aimed and they got the receiving end of my cross hairs. Oops. Oh well..

I mean, why show any attachment, worry, care or concern about seeing your friend shoot someone you know because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and became collateral damage?  Since you are already going to be dead within the hour anyway.   You can’t afford to worry because nothing matters anymore – no one else and certainly not yourself.  Their life is forfeit as your life will soon be.

Those two were detached during NBK and even from themselves.. They were together yet very alone. Watching someone they know get hurt or die, was at a remote distance.

Maybe it was true or at one time he was infatuated with her.  It’s difficult to say. All we have is this rumor that Rachel’s mom perpetuates.  I’m not sure I’m following the rest of what you’re saying here?  Maybe if you link me as to what you’re referencing it? 

I don’t think so. I mean, maybe Eric liked something Dylan had aesthetic clothing/accessory wise and vice versa. They influenced one another as friends tend to do simply from hanging out together.  But, I mean,  I don’t really think he looked at Dylan in awe as something cool or special or someone to be like.  Tbh, I don’t feel like either felt that way about the other. They were like on equal footing not to be looked up to or down to but just on the same level. 

Sounds tragically romantic.  Better yet: you’d be dying to live for each other?

Children?  – honestly never helps make a relationship more important; it only complicates it.  But that’s not to say that there isn’t a time and place for children but only after a relationship is rock solid and mutually positive.

Well, firstly, not everyone that is depressed is at the level of wanting to commit suicide.  I think Dylan being in a relationship with hopefully, someone he liked a lot and felt happier in his mind with, meant he would want to take care of his girl. He would derive a sense of purpose in being there for her and to help her heal. Her happiness would be her happiness. In the two not feeling completely alone in their sense of together, they would hopefully have a positive effect on one another and lift one another up when they were down.  Hopefully, she would try to be as positive of an influence on him and his own struggles with depression as he’d tried to be with her. In a relationship, I do not think Dylan would ever try to convince a girlfriend to want to ‘fulfill his NBK-lover fantasy’ unless, of course, he picked one who had a tendency to mirror his own downward spiral. If she found herself able to arrive at that exact same dark and desperate conclusion too that this life was not worth living even when you were being with your love.  But I think given the two scenarios you presented: if Dylan had a girlfriend, he first and foremost would tend toward having a new lease on life and feel more hopefully. He would want to live, to survive for her so he could exist with her in in their love together.  In theory…  Relationships are complex and complicated and one or both partners having depressive tendencies has a myriad of pros and cons.  Together, they could potentially help one another and soar or go completely the opposite direction, either together or separately ending in a crash and burn.

Nah, I kinda think he liked a bit of mystery and intrigue and trying to figure things out while filling in the blanks in his own mind/fantasies.
Also, Dylan didn’t pursue. lol He sucked at shit like that because he couldn’t work up the nerve or muster the confidence for it.

Part of why the world is numbed out by all these mass shootings is in part due to Columbine Effect.   Had Columbine not happened in the late nineties  inspiring others to commit mass shootings then an event like this happening today would likely not have the potential to spark a big impact.   But since Columbine happened two decades ago, and all other terrorist-like events have occurred since that time, people are now conditioned to it and the media does not treat the event as quite the spectacle that was Columbine. There can be no similar big impact like Columbine since everything thereafter is the continue ‘fall out’ or domino effect from it.. Even with large impact events having occurred since: Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Aurora Theater, Boston Bombing, the Orlando night club and now the Manchester Bombing.  It is all just ‘more of the same’.  Columbine was a one time event, a time in history that has come and gone. It was the end to a time of innocence in which the world had a rude awakening and it shook the foundation of our sense of security in public places that always seemed to be ‘safe’ in the past.  We are all acutely aware now that there really is no public places that can be assumed to have an illusion of safety. No longer our institutions of learning, where even our own student youth are suspect, even our places of entertainment where our guard should be down as we’re supposed to be relaxing and enjoying in the moment. The enemy is no longer only just ‘somewhere else’ but it’s now about coming to terms with the fact that the enemy is within, WE our the enemy, and confronting why that is now A Thing, a regular occurrence in today’s self destructing society since profound events like Columbine and 9/11 too..

In the spirit of fun with the Synoptic questions, I was pretty much answering most open ended questions all across the board and supplying very brief answers. 🙂 As many of you know, I tend to not focus on the sexual questions too often. However, occasionally, I will delve into the subject just a bit. I do feel that there is relevance to discussing the potentials regarding their sexuality in relation to the fantasies/porn interests we know they did have simply because it helps to define their personalities and psychology just a bit more. I’m sorry if this makes some cringy and uncomfortable 💓 and you’d rather not ‘go there’. That’s fine. Everyone has their limits regarding certain topics. I would just recommend you scroll past those posts because there are more than enough non-sexual questions too.
