Yes, the Ever-lasting contrast. Since existence has known, the 'fight' between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good. My fav. contrasting symbol, because it is so true & means so much – the battle between good & bad never ends… Here we ponder on the tragedy of Dylan Klebold.
From the Columbine Report, document 4100-4200, page 77:
Account of Brock Rembold:
“Brock was asked how he could positively identify this person as Dylan Klebold [Dylan was walking on a set of stairs during the massacre when Rembold saw him]. He stated he has had contact with Dylan in the past because Dylan is such a fan of the Boston Red Sox’s and they talked about the team before. He also stated that when he leaves his 3rd hour government class that he normally would pass Dylan in the hallway, because Dylan had that same class 4th period and they saw each other quite a bit, passing in the halls. He also stated that Dylan has a quite distinguishable chin, and there was no question when he saw Dylan on the stairs that he knew it was Dylan Klebold.”
State statutes authorize autopsies in order to determine the cause of sudden, suspicious, or violent deaths. They’re performed by a coroner (a state official, not necessarily a medical doctor) or a medical examiner (who is a doctor). Statutes typically require that the deceased’s next of kin be notified that the procedure will take place. Objections by the next of kin won’t necessarily stop an autopsy; the examiner has the discretion to proceed or not. A typical statute (such as Pennsylvania’s) authorizes an autopsy in the following situations:
(3) deaths occurring as a result of violence or trauma, whether apparently homicidal, suicidal or accidental (including, but not limited to, those due to mechanical, thermal, chemical, electrical or radiational injury, drowning, cave-ins and subsidences) [Source]
Please let us know why you may or may not want an autopsy performed on your loved one. In some cases we may be able to accommodate your request. However, please understand that autopsies authorized by the Chief Coroner are not elective and do not require the consent of the next-of-kin.
So, yes, negated. Tom and Sue had no say in the matter but they were likely in agreement with his autopsy since as Sue mentioned in her book, she wanted to know if Dylan committed such a horrible crime while under the influence of drugs.
I have yet to watch it myself so can’t really comment. Honestly, since they loved the video games and Eric was a fan of the books I’m sure they would probably nitpick and find fault with a lot of it. Often movies aren’t completely faithful to the books/games. But that would drive Eric nuts more so than Dylan though. I’m sure they’d like seeing some of the more realistic visuals and FX.
Questions like these give me the impression that you’re asking me to do your homework assignment for you. You really should research this on your own if you have a paper to write. 🙂 If you’re new to Columbine and need to find quick answers to these questions, I would suggest using my blog as a reference and searching through it for the specifics you need or checking out acolumbine site.
Depends on what age you hypothetically have him presently? As still age 17 then Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat (for the lolz), Twitter. At 36, maybe Facebook and/or Twitter.
Well, if some of you such as yourself, know this to be the case, I’m definitely interested in seeing you send me a direct quote from Stephen King to confirm that the character is Carrie. That would solve everything, wouldn’t it? I merely gave my opinion that I don’t think Carrie is the best composite of E & D from having watched the movie and read the book.
Haha yes, exactly. And Dylan was Mallory to Eric’s Mickey. A perfect yin/yan compliment to one another. 🙂
Honestly, though, Devon said the two used to recite entire scenes of dialog from Natural Born Killers. One of them had to play Mallory..so but of course, they switched off depending on their moods. Either Dyl or Rebby got a kick out of reciting Mallory Knox complete with her high-pitch, twangy redneck southern accent at one point or another.
Now just Imagine how fucking funny that would be to see and hear. Especially with Dylan as he had the deeper voice of the two. 😉 I think he’d be damn good at it. haha
Hmm..idk, Carrie is honestly nothing like a combination of E & D. The only similarity is that she took revenge on her class and her entire town but in a very different, catatonic-like way than the boys. Actually, a lot cooler than what those two knuckleheads did, tbh. Hell hath no wrath and fury like a woman scorn’d. lol
Yassss. You remember that huh. Wow, good memory… Yeah, I’ve been wanting to do that ‘Just a Day’ A Case for Dylan post for what seems like agggeees now. FINALLY. Took a bit longer to piece together than I thought it would too..because more clues popped out at me while typing it up.
You’re welcome and thank you! Glad you enjoyed! 🙂
Now, on to the next one that’s been brewing in my mind. 😉 hehe.
