Didn’t they set a bomb off somewhere away from the school as s distraction. Where was that and did police actually go to it

Yes. Prior to the shooting, a diversionary bomb exploded on the east side of the greenbelt field near the 7900 block of South Wadsworth Boulevard between Ken Caryl and Chatfield Avenues (pretty close to Eric’s house). The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the explosion at 11:21 a.m.  The Littleton Fire Department responded and West Metro Fire Department Investigator Bill Maron completed the investigation.  The investigation revealed that two backpacks containing explosive diversionary devices, built with multiple components, had been placed at this location by E & D.  Only some of the components actually exploded.

The examination of the diversionary devices by bomb technicians provided immediate critical information about the sophistication of the devices and the possibility of motion activators attached to the bombs.  That information was relayed to the command post, the SWAT teams and the bomb technicians responding to the scene at the high school.  See map here.

I kind of get the feeling Eric would be the player type of guy if he had girls over him

I think if Eric was bored after a while, he might look elsewhere on the side to replace and dump the girl before she did him.  I’m not necessarily saying he’d do this as a given only that he might have a tendency toward this type of behavior had he hypothetically got his feet much wetter having relationships or long-term dates.  He had a history of sabotaging things with girls and testing them with the things he said and did out of restlessness and needing a challenge and wanting a girl that could push back and was, therefore, more interesting. He might get tired of a chick if he lost respect for her and might start dating around on the side in search of a replacement.

Do you have pictures of the all the girls in TCM? Or at least names and contact with E&D

Some of the original TCM chicks posing with the gang in the ‘98 yearbook. All of these girls were friendly with E & D though Kristen considered Dylan a ‘best friend’.

How long was Chris dating that girlfriend of his? And did she have any contact with E&D

Chris started dating Nicole in ‘98 and he then started distancing himself from E & D with a steady girlfriend in his life. He stopped wearing the trenchcoat and was less angry all the time as he’d used to be.  Nicole was friends with E & D by way of Chris.  Not close friends but just friends. Nicole was friends with other TCM members such as Kristen Thiebault.

Was Dylan lazy ?

Sure, he could be. He could be lazy and sloppy when something disinterested or bored him of which he had little or no desire to do and it didn’t seem to serve enough of a point of importance in the grand scheme of things in his mind.  For example, he slacked up until the last minute on school work or was late turning assignments or was reading some other book in class which caused his grade to dip way down.  Math class would be an example of this. Or something he dreaded and hated like gym class – so he’d show up late and get into trouble for it.  Conversely, when it was something that sparked his interest such as playing baseball, he was competitive and passionately played wanting very much to win and also with the Fantasy Baseball league team he managed, he was very diligent and excelled at both the organizational functioning combined with the sure-fire intuitive plays that he tended to make with his gut instinct.  His friend Chris Hooker stated: “he was so awesome we thought he should’ve managed a team in real life.”    Dylan thrived in video production class and also managing the technical sound for the school’s plays.  These forms of education were more fun and less boring and rigid like math.  Such things engaged his expression of individuality and allowed his natural talents and interests shined.  He was able to make executive decisions on how the sound should come in on a certain scene or to develop a screenplay and figure out how to shoot neat angles to his production rather than just solving math problems that relied on the same pat complex formulas that anyone could solve.  But who cares?  Mrs Caruthers, the theater class teacher called Dylan “efficient” at sound design.   Dylan wasn’t lazy when he was younger but he became more that way over time as he became more depressed and apathetic about what seemed like limitations that this life could only seem to offer him. As a brilliant gifted kid, he was not at all stimulated enough in with a creative approach that engaged him enough to want to care and make more an effort.   Being a high achiever in school meant that he was just jumping through all the correct hoops that society wanted their obedient zombies to do.  But what is the real meaning to life besides falling in line with what is deemed ‘successful’ here on planet Earth?  It seemed more important to resist perfect obedience to The Society but slacking off.

how did Eric spend his last birthday? I know how dyl did but I never hear about Eric’s, especially since it was so close to nbk

Eric had a small, low-key birthday party at the Draft Bar & Grill located adjacent to the Southwest Plaza mall.  Dylan, Chris Morris, his girlfriend, a junior, Nicole Markham and Cory Friesen (Chris’ best friend).

That Friday, April 9th evening, they went midnight bowling: “The AMF bowling alley dimmed the lights and brought in a DJ from midnight to 2 a.m. Eric loved the disco lights and rowdy music and camaraderie he found at Rock N’ Bowl. He was there most Friday nights. Only this night, many of his pals had early-morning Saturday plans. Only two made it to the bowling alley, Dylan, and Robyn. Dylan wouldn’t let Eric down, wouldn’t let him be all alone.”
– The Rockey Mountain News – August 22nd, 1999

According to Basement Tape transcripts, Eric smoked a “birthday cigar.”  Probably Dylan got it for him.

What if someone Dylan wasn’t expecting had a crush on him and confessed to him and he liked her back and they got together, but after that some one that he had a crush on before confessed that he liked him? Would he be tempted to cheat? Would he wanna leave his girlfriend for his crush?

I gotta tell you, questions like this border on fanfic imagines scenario set-up..it’s a little convoluted. I honestly don’t see him as being a fickle sort of dude had he ever managed to date girls. It’d be one thing if he was dating girls casually and wanted to start dating the girl he crushed but if he was seriously dating someone, I doubt he’d be so shallow as to break up just because he preferred someone else better. And someone he hadn’t even dated yet or would know for certain the relationship was going to click.  He didn’t want to be that asshole guy dating around with girls. He wanted commitment and not to be a player.
