Do you think sometimes Dylan went to the mall just to see Tobin ? Bc he went many times in her store until he finally had the courage to ask her out

I think seeing Tobin at the mall was an extra perk in addition to whatever other reason Dylan was visiting SW Plaza for  After leaving the record store (probably Tower Records) or Hot Topic, he’d make a point of stopping in All Wound Up because he liked looking at the gadgets while being able to sneak a few glances around to see if Tobin was working that evening. He might work up the nerve to ask her the price of something..or maybe, if Dylan was feeling extra bold and lucky (or had a nip from his flask), he might even ask her out….or not, maybe the next time.

What would the boys think about zero day?

Best suckiest documentary on us.

Remember they wanted big name directors like Tarantino or Spielberg to cover their story.  I think they’d find the Zero Day actors annoying too.

It’d be good for a laugh tho like a bad parody of them.  They’d be critiquing it going “What the flippin’ fuck?  It wasn’t like that. They even got that wrong too!  Geeeaaawd dammit!“  *laughs*

One of my friends said that the E & D had more guns than what they brought to school on NBK, is this true?

Pssht no.  Only four between the two of them; two guns for each.  Guns were expensive and they were teenage dudes on a tight, part-time job budget.
Your friend seems to have this fantasy idea that they really were Hitmen for Hire with multiple guns. Nope, just knuckleheads on a shoestring budget that purchased crappy, old guns. Set em straight. 😉

Dave Cullen isn’t as unhelpful as you think…

If you actually read “Columbine” he gives a pretty big hint as to where they’re storing the Basement Tapes…

“In April 2007, Judge Babcock finally ruled. “There is a legitimate public interest in these materials so that similar tragedies may hopefully be prevented,” he (Judge Babcock) wrote. “I conclude, however, that the balance of interests still strikes in favor of maintaining strict confidentiality.” He settled on a compromise. The transcripts would be sealed at the national archives for twenty years. The truth would come out in 2027, twenty-eight years after the massacre.“

Not to burst your bubble here but.. his book is referring to the parents’ deposition transcripts being stored in the National Archives not to be released in 2027. Transcripts are vastly different media format from the Basement video tapes.
See here.

Do you reckon there’s a chance where they could be released at the same time though among other evidence?

No. This is because the tapes have since been declared officially destroyed in 2011 but publicly announced February 2015.

“ The tapes also became highly restricted exhibits in civil lawsuits filed against a pharmaceutical company and the killers’ parents. Following the settlement of those cases, U.S. District Judge Lewis Babock ordered that the parents’ depositions be turned over to the National Archives and Records Administration and kept under seal for twenty years. It’s not clear to what extent some exhibits may also have been preserved, but a separate decision by Babcock ordered that the copies of the tapes used in the litigation be destroyed.

Kelley says Sheriff Ted Mink approved the destruction of the tapes – along with shell casings, weapons and other remaining Columbine evidence – in early 2011. The obliteration of the videos was only acknowledged recently, though, after a private party filed an open records request seeking access to the basement tapes.

They probably made copies. Also, I highly doubt that the basement tapes’ content was so bad that they had to destroy them. I’ve read the transcripts of what supposedly happened on them and it wasn’t all that bad. They just talked about school, NBK, other people, family, their teen angst, Dylan’s jew-ness and showed off their guns and pipe bombs and a Jack Daniels bottle.

I’d mentioned a few times before on E-C that there are probably copies in the possession of the FBI but since they don’t officially exist, knowing that there are copies is kind of meaningless since you can’t file a request to obtain copies of something announced as officially destroyed.

As I mentioned in a post earlier today, the transcripts that you’re referring to is the condensed edited version taken from five video tapes running nearly 4 hours long.  They actually didn’t “just” discuss the trivial stuff you mentioned. Their videos are a “call to arms” to the viewers inciting others to follow in their footsteps.  The authorities consider the content far too provocatively inspiring to other disenfranchised and/or mentally unstable youth.  See here

I know that they were destroyed (allegedly) but it still sucks because that was some pretty important evidence that was crucial to the case. I do understand why they were destroyed though. Here’s hoping there are still some copies out there🤞🏼hahah

Agreed. When they say “copies of the tapes” we can speculate that another agency like the FBI has their digital copies in safe keeping.  Of course, how the existing, secreted away copies get released is damn near impossible because you can’t request something you only suspect resides with a government agency when they’ve been publicly announced as destroyed.

In any case, my initial response to this discussion is that the National Archives doesn’t have the Basement Tapes so they won’t be releasing them. – they will only be releasing the depositions…and ten long years from now.  :-/

Since everyone is asking about the girls being pregnant, in the video “Eric in Columbine” weren’t they talking about some girl being pregnant?

They were referring toTiffany Typher. She wasn’t pregnant while attending CHS though to my knowledge. They were just talking shit about her. Maybe she was rumored to be easy while dating around.

-Tiffany walks up-
Whole group: CHOWDAAAA! Its the wild child! Aye!
Tiffany: What are you doing?
Mike: Were filming will you smile for the camera please?
Tiffany: No why?
Mike: Please! come onnn
Tiffany: With my teeth all blue? Ill be like hey guys….
Whole group: Yeah that works! just leave it in your mouth!
Mike: See, this is, were filming about rejects to the school
Tiffany: Will it be on TV?
Eric: Probably real TV, but not the morning announcements
Tiffany: Oh, okay then *laughs* that’s fine
-more babble about the sucker-
Random guy: Now you’re sucking on a blue…sucker
Eric: Sucker…
Random guy: Show us how you use it!
Tiffany: Oh My Goddd!
-Tiffany leaves the whole table laughing-
Mike: She brings it on herself!
Random guy: Byeee Tiffany. I love you. See you in German. Just kidding
Random guy: *says to the whole table* I still haven’t let that go…
Eric: *Makes a “oh god” face*
Mike: Okay that wasn’t funny, Pregnant women shouldn’t be teased especially their single mothers…and in high school!
Eric: Aye mother, want another?
Random guy: *copies Eric*
Mike: Cuz she doesn’t know how to keep it in her pants
Random guy: Hey, Tiffany’s weird, okay?
