I have a few questions and I’m sorry in advance if you’ve already answered these before. If you have, please link me! 🙂 Firstly, what is the object Dylan is holding in his hand when he flips off the traffic light in the Breakfast Run video? Secondly, approximately when were his senior photos taken? And thirdly, when were the senior class photos taken? (Also when are you going to post another video of your trip to Littleton? You and CVA are the only people keeping things interesting for me lol)

Well, first of all: I’m not really convinced he’s flipping off the traffic light. It’s definitely not a cell phone as some believe but possibly his wallet? I’m not entirely certain what it is he’s holding, it’s rather narrow.  Keep in mind too, Dylan has some long digits. So the manner in which he’s holding the object, his index finger is extending beyond the object he’s holding with his thumb laying along the side of it. If he were flipping the lights off, he’d be using his middle finger, right?

Senior photos would’ve been taken around August of ‘98 right before or around when his Senior year started.

The Senor class photo in the gym was taken on March 4, 1999.

As for more posting more photos from my trip, I’m mulling over having a poll to let you guys decide what you’d like to see next.   It’d be great if Tumblr had polls that I could insert in my post but Tumblr is so basic.  Anyone have any polling ideas?

Such an honor to be mentioned along side CVA for all things interesting – thankss. 🙂

When was radioactive clothing, breakfast run, and rampart range released and why did Jeffco feel the need to release them when they don’t really provide any insight into the reasons for the shooting.

It really doesn’t make a whole lot of sense does it?   Perhaps this was supposed to suffice as “released video footage of the shooters” because Jeffco was firmly against the releasing of the Basement Tapes.  The public wanted something more.  It makes a certain amount of sense to release Rampart Range which shows the two practicing shooting for the massacre a month before.  However, releasing their video productions sort of borders on..gratuitous.  Though Hitmen for Hire does show them sort of fantasy ‘practicing’ dress rehearsal for the day.  But hey, you’ll find no complaints from me here! 😉

hi my love. you did not asked my queston,or maybe it did not even arrived. anyways..i am searching one tumblr of a girl who loved eric very much, the blonde one. does she have a tumblr still? i think you was following her,so maybe you know. i cant find her anymore.

Uh, you do know when you say ‘a girl who loved Eric very much’ you turning the heads of a gazillion girls who are all saying ‘you mean me?!?’  lol

That said, I’m going to guess you’re referring to perhaps Bonnie with the blonde hair?  Fairyviolence hasn’t been blogging on Tumblr for oh, about a year now?   Last I recall, she was dating some Russian dude with tattoos and then not too terribly long after that, she just stopped posting on her blog altogether.  I honestly have no clue where she is these days.  It’s kind of weird how that happened considering her passion and devotion to Eric.   Again, if that is who you meant.  Sorry if I wasn’t much help. 🙂

Dylan Klebold in the Breakfast Run Video / requested by @everlasting-contrast  💖

Just look at those lanky-long grasshopper legs. The tops of his thighs down to his knees is an incredibly long length. Amazing to us 👏🏻 but probably very awkward for him to manage getting into Dustin’s car with the low seats. He must have been so crammed in his tiny BMW. lol

Thank you @erics-entry-exit for fulfilling my large n’ lovely gif request. Perfect! 👏🏻👏🏻💓

sorry if this is dumb!!! but how were the students in the library unaware of the shooting? eric and dylan had plenty of time to shoot people outside and then enter the building. everyone was running out of the school, but students remained in the library, apparently not hearing anything, not looking out of the windows and everything was ok in their world.

Oh no, the students and teachers definitely knew there was a commotion going on and they were looking out the library windows trying to figure out what was going on. But remember, 4/20 was senior prank day and so everyone was observing out the window and slowly coming to the realization that this wasn’t just some play acting outside. No, those weren’t actual paint ball guns, were they? Someone just fell down to the ground..and there’s blood. Those are NOT paintball guns. WTF. By the time the teachers were concerned and alarmed, they were talking amongst each other. Some left the library to go get help while reassuring the students. One teacher was Richard Long, Eric and Dylan’s computer teacher. He knew Dylan well from having him as a computer lab assistant and school network administrator. There he was looking out the window watching as Dylan walked all around cocky, with a smile on his face, causing destruction. You can imagine how the wheels were slowly spinning in his head with disbelief and shock as to what was going down right now in their pristine, perfect school that had never once had criminal activity ever before.

So, there was this shock spreading over everyone which sort of slowed them down. On top of that, there was this confident assumption that the cops would some how show up too to take care of it before they even made it upstairs to them. Help must be on the way. This surely couldn’t go on much longer. I’m sure the staff present were reassuring their students to stay calm and not to worry. “The police will be here soon..”. Kids were in denial and felt relatively safe that the teachers would get the authorities to come. The adults would surely protect them so they shouldn’t worry about it. I also think some of the students were still in a kind of denial that this may still just be an elaborate prank. But that was going on ‘down there’ and they may have felt safety in being distance from it being up high upstairs in the library.

No one really thought it was going to escalate the way it did..and as fast as it did. That’s generally the way disasters happen especially when they were not prepared enough for this. It is something that just kind overtakes people like a tidal wave. Suddenly, Patti Nielsen is high tailing it into the library along with student, Brian Anderson. They both got maimed as Eric and Dylan were making their way inside of the southwest entrance. Patti was in a panic and yelling for kids to get down under the desks but she was frantic and not thinking clearly and the library doors did not get shut and locked or barricaded as they should have been. Some of the librarians and teachers that were originally in the library were probably just as perplexed that no cops were on the scene to handle the situation. They were hiding in some of the recreation and tv rooms inside the library. Yes, they hid inside those rooms, with doors, and it seems as though plenty of students could’ve been shuffled into those rooms too and protected. But everyone was caught off guard, everyone assumed that help would come, everyone assumed this just couldn’t be real. How could this be? Things like this just didn’t happen here.. But it was all just too late by the time it became a brutal reality. Suddenly, they were all just sitting ducks, students and staff alike, as Eric and Dylan strolled in, weapons primed and ready, like the cats that cornered the mice.

p.s. Not at all a dumb question!

In your opinion, do you believe it was good that they tore down the original library from the top floor of Columbine or do you think they should have left it?

I do think it was good thing, the right thing to be done. The library was too tainted by violence, blood and death. I would be too upsetting for the parents to send their children back in ‘that room’. And I think it would’ve been extremely hard and traumatic for students to ever try and set foot within that room again – without thinking about the atrocity that happened there or where victims bodies laid. It would have been impossible for any that were held hostage in the library and had been majorly wounded, quite frankly. Plus, I just think that it is a sacred space, you know? and needs to have a sort of reverence and respect for what happened there. Now it resides in the open heavens of the cafeteria which can be reflected upon as you walk upstairs and over look the glass windows that are now the atrium. And there is a kind of peace about it.. a sort of coexisting space between the past and the present.  Ultimately, it was important to metaphorically start over from scratch and build a new library adjacent to the school and not within it, as part of it.
