Hi there. I’m wondering how we know that the Klebold’s other cat was named Lucy. I know Sue writes about having more than one, but, from what I can remember, only mentions Rocky by name. I did do a search, but couldn’t find how we know the other cat was named Lucy. Thanks!

Sue spoke of both Rocky and Lucy in AMR:

“Because of Ruth’s allergies, we put our two cats, Rocky and Lucy, in the utility room, and they slunk behind the dryer in the unfamiliar space. I wished I could do the same”

I actually visited Columbine for a basketball game and some boys were like “who the fuck is THIS guy” and staring me down, and all I could say was “people really don’t learn, do they?” So yeah, there Are still bullies there.

Uhhh…that’s a pretty sad commentary where the school is concerned. Smh. Guess it’s a super secret AP history class that somehow slipped their curriculum roster.  History not learned is history doomed to repeat itself. 

They had IHOPs back in 1999? Woh! Lol that’s so cool to know lol (sound stupid of me) . Did the boys go there lol

Yeah, believe it or not we also automobiles and mobile phones back in ye’ old times too. 😉  But of course they went there.. seeing as Brooks’ worked at one (and apparently spent the night at IHOP running/hiding away from mumsy and daddsy)  Brooks and Dylan used to head to Perkins to get creative with their screenplay writing over coffee and grub, and I’m sure they crashed Denny’s on weekends after late night bowling too. Places like these are just standard American teenage fair for cheap, greasy, fatting crap food.

That is wishful thinking. But hey, we all do a fair bit of that when it comes to Dylan. 😉 But tbh, Dylan probably did have a crush on Rachel at one point in time… along with his many other secret crushes over the years.  But his knowing that she was a Christian that actually did religious performances in school would likely have been more or less a turn off for him in the last year and a half of his life – regardless of whether they got along as acquaintances as part of theater class. He’d have been like “oh, she’s one of thoooose people. Too bad”

Wait a minute, wait a minute, I thought Dylan saw Eric kill himself, then lit a Molotov cocktail and THEN offed himself— not *SECONDS* after Eric did.

Yes, Dylan did light the molotov on the table first before committing suicide. In that particular post, I was focusing on the boys positioning and order of deaths and nothing much else.  You can check out this post or search ‘molotov’. However, I should probably add that bit in so there isn’t any future puzzlement.

Hi Miss E-C! Why do you suppose Robyn never tried to set Dylan up with any of her friends?

Hiya 🙂  Well, because that would make their established friendship awkward if she decided to play matchmaker to her friend when he did not ask her to do such a thing. It would embarrass him as if she thought he some poor unfortunate cause that needed help. Additionally, Robyn was ultimately hedging her bets that her buddy might show signs of being interested in them as more than friends.. someday.. if and when he was ready to and if she hadn’t already found some other guy to steady date.
