They used the smokers’ pit? I thought they only smoked in Dylan’s car…

It wasn’t either one thing or the other. They went to the smokers pit plenty of times but Dylan also occasionally smoked in his car out of rebelliousness since it was illegally on the school grounds yet closer to get to class. The pit was designated space by the school but you had to walk a ways to get to it if you wanted to indulge your nicotine fix.

Do you happen to know why Eric disliked Brooks Brown so much?

In a nutshell, because Brooks embellished and lied a lot to make himself seem super important. He was also an arrogant dude which clashed and rivaled with Eric’s own brand of arrogance.  There for a while, Eric would hitch rides to school with Brooks (rather than catch the bus) and he had a bad habit of being slow and on the late side by the time he got to the Harris house which annoyed the fuck out of a tiny Rebby.  Oh, and Brooks often waxed on and on like he was a master philosopher which got on their nerves because he’d act like a ‘know it all’. 

Where are all the crime scene photos, are they public record?

If you mean the crime scene with the bodies?  Not released and not public record. I think a good reason for this is because these are deceased children in a school setting. I’m sure it was decided that it would best to not release them out of respect to the victims parents and families so that they were not constantly in a state of perpetual agony knowing that their dead child could be easily found with a simple search on the internet.  It was the tasteful thing to do by not releasing such morbid photos.  There are plenty of crime scene shots of the outside grounds and vacant library and its carnage after the bodies had been removed. Those can be found easily by searching around online and the evidence is also in the 11K. 

How do you think things would have played out if Dylan had severely wounded himself, but somehow did not die while trying to commit suicide?

Not very good. I mean, he very well may have ended up an invalid, severely brain damaged in a prison psych ward for the rest of his life.  Honestly, it’d be a horribly hellish fate for not only himself but it’s parents. And if parts of his brain were okay but large parts weren’t that’d be a tormenting existences far, far worse than how bad he thought life already had been for him.
