Yep. 🙂 And I honestly should just finish the post I was working on about the Bolle style shades in Dyl’s car which might’ve been the one and the same pair stolen permanently from the van.
I love when you give a really good answer to one of my questions & it gets a lot of notes lol, it’s like “yes, i contributed to this”
Well, if you feel the answer was ‘really good’, (in addition to the likes), hey, thanksss. 🙂 Yeeeup, you too can claim credit for having a hand in instigating me and my meander-y word vomit posts. lol
How are people looking at the 99 yearbook? Is it online somewhere??? Are they just talking about the senior picture???
Yep, you heard correctly, the yearbook. I have the electronic version of it. 😉
I may make it available sometime soon..
Wait hold up Dylan’s car is still out there somewhere?
Wait yup it is. E-C Search ‘BMW’ for the deets.
Did Dylan have a bris?
I’m going to say..no, I don’t think so because Sue was not really hardcore into Jewish religious customs. She was a lightweight when it came to the celebrations of her faith. If anything, Dylan was probably routinely circumcised in a hospital or doctor’s office as is the majority of American boys. He might even have been baptized since Sue mentioned the family had been attending a local Lutheran church when the boys were small.
Dylan behind Blackjack. Enjoy. 🙂
And the lip reading search continues..
Would you consider taking ownership of Dylan’s BMW, if the opportunity arose?
If and when that opportunity arises, how could I possibly refuse? 😉
Wait brooks has twitter where have I been
Wait where have you been………..
Why did Eric want to be in the military if he had “problems with authority”? I believe he checked that off on an evaluation, however I’m not able to locate the post. Maybe he wanted to feel like he belonged somewhere, but nonetheless I was curious to see if you’d weigh in on this topic. Thanks!
Probably because Eric gravitated towards what he knew, what he was familiar with, in having grown up in a military family with a strict father. He was used to being raised in that sort of culture but at the same time, he hated the rules and restriction placed on him all the same. As he grew older, he became restless and frustrated with being under his father’s thumb and so he began to act out and rebel. But of course, had Eric joined in the military, it would’ve been far tighter restrictions and military protocol placed upon him. He’d have to literally do what they said from the moment he started basic training onward and would have to temper himself, to learn how to fall in line with ultimate authority, IF he truly was ambitious to be a part of the military. That would have been very difficult for him deal with – having to suck up and say “Yes sir! No sir!” all the time might not have been worth it to him just so he could’ve freely been able to dabbled in various weapons or specialize in explosives. It would taken a lot of discipline and restraint and I don’t think he had the maturity. You couldn’t really tame a Rebby at age 18. He might’ve eventually failed the military and dropped out. But I think Eric largely felt as though had to go into the military because it’s what, he believed, his father expected of him..and well, he honestly didn’t know what else to do in life. I think he was kind of paralyzed and blanking out as to what he himself wanted other than the military because he knew that to a large degree his ‘other’ choices would be contingent upon whether his father approved or judged him a failure. He couldn’t even listen to the call of his inner voice and figure out what his personal passions might be because he had to go with what was the acceptable family standard for a career. Saying he was going into the military was the safe, conservative choice. Additionally, there was the pressures of growing up in the shadow of his successful older brother.
I’ve seen a couple witnesses say that the shooters came over the hill and took guns out of their duffel bags, I thought they came up the stairs?
The 11K has some confounding, incongruous eyewitness accounts within it. There will be times when you’re reading the thing and everyone is nearly in sync when it comes to recall and then you’ll have that odd person that says something completely different. It’s pretty trippy shit. I suppose you could chalk it up to people in a state of panic having a skewed perception and inaccurate recall of actual events that transpired and where they occurred. So, yes, the shooters had at least one, maybe two duffel bags with them containing extra gear, bombs and ammo and they factually began shooting on the grass hill near the southwest entrance that overlooked the senior parking lot. Yet, there are some, based on their individual perception, that claim something vastly different. Add to the mix of that there are quite a few students that swear there was more than two shooters in the 11K. And that is where I’ll stop with answering this question because getting into that subject is like opening a can of worms basically. lol
The AMA that Brooks did, how do we know it was actually him? And not some random person pretending to be him?
If you scroll through the thread, you’ll see that Brooks was asked to prove it was really him. So, in response, he posted a photo with him holding a hand written sign that said AMA. And also, believe it or not, back then, we honestly didn’t have to worry about fake!Brooks or fake!Sue like we do now. That’s how bad things have progressed in the last 7 years.
was the southwest entrance where they first entered and opened fire? .
Correct. Sometimes referred to as the West entrance but often as the Southwest entrance.
does Brooks have Twitter? if so, do you know his handle?

could you do post about serial killers that are active now? like the smiley face killer etc.

Were Dylan’s sunglasses (the ones fixed with tape) found in his car? Do you think those are the ones that Nate took before he left town?
No, the sunglasses found in Dylan’s car were Bolle sunglasses which are a sporty type of sunglasses that are often either/or wrap-around style with mirror reflective lenses. And, hmm..incidentally, the sunglasses that were stolen out of the van were also Bolle sunglasses. Sometimes I speculate whether Dylan somehow managed to keep the stolen pair that belonged to Mr. Ricky Becker in his glove box and it fell under the radar of being recorded as returned to the owner. But I digress here.. 😉 It’s possible Nate took the pair of Bolle shades found in his BMW..or perhaps another pair that Dylan had worn in the past that had represented ‘happier times’ as Sue had written in her book. I do believe that Dylan wore his trademark oblong sunglasses during NBK (some eyewitnesses had seen him sporting them). The main problem with those inimitable shades, as with his jewelry, is that they were oddly never cataloged as items retrieved and RTO (returned to owner).
why is the nixon tape called that? & if you had to speculate, why didnt dylan leave something like that (more personal) for his family?
Eric’s microcassette tape that he recorded a few things on the night before the massacre was labeled “Nixon” for unknown reasons. I think Eric was much more conscientious and pretentious in carefully wanting to leave his mark on everything that he knew would be discovered by the authorities post-mortem after NBK. Dylan was honestly just not interested in what happened after he was gone from this place. He was not hung up on wanting people or family and friends to stumble upon certain select things and so he didn’t leave behind any personal audio tapes or goodbye notes. He didn’t stage things in his room to be found as Eric did in his bedroom for his parents and police to easily find. Dylan also wiped his computer hard drive so no one could glimpse a snapshot of his brain. His participation in NBK and responsibility for it was not the sort of ego trip it was for Eric in leaving behind a tiny cassette recording on the kitchen table that said: “People will die because of me,” “It will be a day that will be remembered forever.“ These things simply did not interest Dylan at all. Dylan was looking forward to leaving this place behind with the thoughts of how everything will be infinitely better than it is here rather than looking behind at how he was instrumental in causing mass destruction and becoming immortalized as infamous as part of humanity. Once he was gone from the earth, he would rather forget the tool that the entity known as ‘Dylan Klebold’ had to be in order to be free from this bondage.
Why do you keep constantly shitting on cva?? Frankly he’s better and more down to earth than some Dylan worshipper like you ….
I’m unbiasedly honest about CVA, whether the ‘factual’ information he is serving up is right or wrong. If you see that as “shitting on him” then that is your problem. If you are Team CVA no matter what he says and does then why are you even here at all? Honestly, don’t waste your time here or mine getting your knickers in a twist if this is not the sort of content you enjoy. *waves* buh-bye.
do you have links to the boys’ writings and journals? please point me in the right direction if you have posted something similar, but the links from the masterposts i’ve seen are broken. :/
How many questions do you answer out of all the ?’s you receive?
Not as many as I’d like to. Just don’t have the time as of late or the right frame of mind to tackle so many (in the manner I’d like to address them).. *sigh*
Just want to point out for anyone that may be interested, Brooks did an AMA (ask me anything) on Reddit a few years back in case anyone wants to give it a read. Pretty interesting. But yea, from what I understand he no longer wants to talk about it.
Brooks did that AMA 7 years ago on April 20, 2011. So, that was quite a long time ago. Anyone is free to google that AMA q/a thread and it pops right up in the search. In recent years, Brooks is at a place where he at least claims, that he does not want to revisit the subject any longer. He’s tired of it; as he stated it’s a ‘sad’ subject for him. We should uphold that integrity by not dragging him back into his muddy past even when he has trouble upholding his own integrity in claiming he has no interest in ‘going there’ again. It’s selfish for us to bug him out of our own morbid curiosity or just thinking it’s cool to be interacting with a former friend of E & D. Doing stuff like that doesn’t help the dude. He is damaged and in recent years is making some progress healing from the tragedy. We should allow him the room to be able to do that for himself.
