hey! hope your day is going well x im a little confused about the release of the depositions, i e-c searched “depositions” and it says that they will be released in 2027. yet cva said they will be released 2023? does it say anywhere the official year of release?

While the deposition of the parents was taken over several days in 2003 it was ruled by a federal judge on Monday, June 2, 2007 that the depositions of the shooters families would remain under seal and kept secret for 20 years. The year that determination began was 2007 and so twenty years from that year would be 2027 when the depositions would be released. See source information here and Cullen even mentions he would post them on his site in 2027 under the ‘Not in the Columbine Guide’ section of his site here.   CVA has his information incorrect but I can see how he miscalculated which year. The problem is that CVA tends to spit out information that he just poorly recalls off the cuff or makes assumptions and doesn’t bother to thoroughly double check his facts for accuracy. I hope that I’ve put to rest your confusion. 🙂

I did use e-c search and found the post I just wanna hear YOUR opinion

My opinion well.. my feeling, is that no Dylan did not cry. He was tired, he was   in a state of shock -yes, but numbed out and so unemotional and disconnected. Once Eric had literally blown himself away – well, hmm…it was kind of like how when one person works up the nerve to finally jump out of the airplane and the other parachuter is still standing at the edge of the plane looking down..seeing the inevitability of it, the finality of it with a calmness and finding that brave leap of faith within themselves as they calmly step out.  And it’s that sense of now or never. and I will do what I know I must.  That’s where Dylan was when Eric had suddenly just..gone and he was left all alone, literally. The time to die was now and he needed to prepare himself for this very moment. which he had been waiting for for a very long time. The moment had finally come, it was what he longed for most of all in the entirety of this day. The reward of release from this life and find freedom. And so his focus was on detachedly preparing himself to end his own life, to take that same leap of faith, on the heels of his friend.

By each student I meant Eric and Dylan as well, so if one were to share a drawing featuring Dylan would that be okay? I’ve considered this idea for a while but thought that some would discourage it may seem like a tactless reminder of a lost opportunity.

Well, but the entire event is a constant reminder of all that has been lost, all the lost future opportunities that could gave been but will never be, and so it could hardly be an irreverent or disrespectful drawing as such a theme is the very embodiment of that which defines this tragedy. Such a waste of 14 promising young lives…. You’re free to submit the drawing as anyone is free to submit their works to E-C but ultimately, I decide whether to post or not depending on if I lt resonates with me and the feeling of this blog. So, to be clear, no personal offense intended to anyone if their art is submitted but not selected. 🙂

Do you support the theory that Dan Rohrbough was accidentally killed by police during the shooting? I read somewhere that multiple police bullets surrounded Dan’s body on the pavement, but an officer had told Dan’s father that he witnessed him being shot by E&D while running from them. But that doesn’t explain how Dan was shot in the front of his chest.

Per the El Paso report, it was factually determined that Eric killed him and not ‘friendly fire’ aka the police. Please E-C Search ‘Daniel Rohrbough’ to find the posts covering this.

I’ve been looking for a long time and haven’t found anything so I think it’s time to ask the expert, of course we’ve all seen the boys senior pictures, but didn’t they also have like official ‘senior portraits’? Like at least where I live we have the ones like they had, but also formal yearbook photos taken at the school, casual photos at the school, and mock graduation pictures at the school; I feel like if the boys had any of these then they’d be all over the place but it’s always worth asking

Hmm, yes, I know what you mean but I think it varies depending upon the high school. It may be the case that CHS students had the option to choose either an outdoor or an indoors setting for their “official’  senior photo set. and both boys chose the more casual – less stuffy – outdoor setting.  In looking through the ‘99 yearbook, most seniors have the outdoor photos but a few chose to have indoor shots.  I know that CHS still primarily does the outdoor senior photos even today.  Oh, I’m the resident ‘expert’ huh. Yikes, OH, the pressure. haha.
