HI E-C! I love your blog, I do have an answer to the cremation question regarding Eric. Eric filled out one of those AOL “getting to you” surveys we all used to do back in the day and there was a question asking cremated or buried and Eric answered “burnt” so cremated.

Hiya and thankss 🙂 Well, I just responded to that as a comment in my response. I said: I feel as though he meant ‘burnt’ as in, at the school (a bit of the ol’ Rebby ‘foreshadowing’ in his internet questionnaire), but in any case, what I meant by my answer was that they didn’t really didn’t care one way or the other as to what happened to their physical bodies. It just wasn’t a big deal to them to think about what would happen to their remains after NBK. And so my answer was not a literal ‘this dude wants to be in a “coffin’ and that dude contemplates ‘cremation’ ‘type affair.

I searched your tag for Melissa Couris, and you allude to the possibility of her being the object of Dylan’s affections, re. “you seem a lot like me. Pensive, quiet, an observer, not wanting what is offered here (school, life, etc)”. Why do you think so? That is if it goes any deeper beyond just the thought of it being a possibility :)

Haha, no-no, I didn’t allude that at all in the post.  I quoted Dylan in relation to what Melissa’s observations were of Dylan in class. The quote reflects exactly what she recalls.  

In the roast video, dylan is wearing a long sleeve tshirt under he’s chem bros tee is it possible that its the smashing pumpkins shirt he owned?

Yes, it’s possible that he owned the Zero shirt (and in particular, the long-sleeved version based on his sketch).   However, we don’t know for certain if that’s what he’s wearing under his Chem Bros rainbow Setting Sun shirt in the Frankenstein Roast vid. Highly probable tho as Dyl likely recycled wearing a handful of fav band shirts. Don’t think his wardrobe was all that extensive. lol

were those photos released of eric and dylan’s car released right after the shooting? the inside of both their cars looked to be pretty clean and neat for a teenage boy

I’m confused: you’re asking me if there were photos released right after the shooting or you’re telling me they were and you thought them pretty clean/neat? Because I believe only partial interior photos of Dylan’s car were released. And those shots show a messy interior due to how his car looked after they diffused the propane bombs. And I do not recall that we have any of Eric’s interior car photos after the shooting.  

Hi E-C. If you like I may be looking for something that doesn’t exist. But I feel like a few months ago you posted a picture of the infamous senior picture the funny one with the “guns” And I know a lot of people were trying to figure out whose boot was where and there’s a picture with all sorts of color-coded circles and it kind of showed us where everyone was. Maybe Dylan’s leg was on Brooks’s leg or something like that.Was it you who posted it? I can’t find it anymore

I’m new to this community and I read somewhere that Dylan is painted to be a sad, lonely, seemingly innocent boy who only wanted to find love. But then I also read that Dylan was nothing like this? That he was a rude guy and not at all a sad weepy boy. So I’m curious to know, what was Dylan’s personality really like?

Both of those descriptions you give not only sound like extreme opposites but you sound like you’re describing some one-dimensional tv character on ABC Family. Awh, there’s that “sad emo boy” or, oohh, he’s a “nasty rude guy”.  Careful, careful.. real people aren’t at all simplistic, they’re not one-dimensional, stereo-typical caricatures that can easily be labeled as only one thing or the other. People are multifaceted and complex in personality and not just one thing or the other or black or white.  Dylan had many moods about him. He could be nice or mean or somewhere in between depending on circumstances. He could be happy, sad or cocky too but not only blue. There is nuance in Dylan as with all people.  You do yourself a disservice by embracing ignorance when you believe and buy into myths that Dylan must certainly be this way or that in order for you to have a handle on him.  The best way to have a better understanding about Dylan, (which can be applied any person really) is to read as much as you can about them to observe the full snapshot of his personality. Then you will get the entire 5 3 dimensional perspective about who he was and what he was really like.  I’m sorry, but I honestly cannot give you the neat and tidy little label you were looking for as an answer.  If you are truly as curious as you say you are, my advice is to go deeper than the surface information sources you’re latching on to. 

Did Eric have a thing for chubby girls? Sasha and Susan both appear to be chubbier/ have a few extra pounds. (Not calling them fat at all because I don’t think they were)

To be honest, and blunt, I’m going to say that’s a nope.  Susan DeWitt was definitely not chubby or thick. Sasha was on the thick side, yes, but after she dumped him, Eric spitefully referenced her in his friend’s yearbook “Sasha is a fat trendy whiney annoying turd and I went out with her cause I felt sorry for her I guess.“  See posts here and here.  If you want to know more about Sasha in relation to dating the boys, please do check out the search first, alrighty? 😉 

hey so a thing that’s been on my mind… dylan shot himself the TEC-9, right? How come you can’t see it in the suicide photos? i checked both of them several times but i don’t see it. i see arlene under eric’s leg but i don’t see the TEC-9. Help please :)

Dylan’s Tec, with a live round still in the chamber, was loosely in the grip of his right hand and under his right thigh/knee. Hope that helps. 🙂  Yes, we know Dylan was left handed but the posts I linked help to explain why his pistol was found located in the wrong hand.

We have erics AOL chats but not dylans as he wiped his computer, and we have the few girls he talked to or went on “dates” with recalling his personality, but do you think he would have been the type to be all “what do you think when you look at the stars” like eric over AOL, or more just… shy boy chatting like “oh that’s cool” dry sort of thing… Basically, do you think dyl ever got into deep sort of conversations with girls similar to his writings ? About fate and stuff.

No, I don’t think Dylan got into deep conversations. But then again, I honestly don’t think Eric’s convo were all that deep either. 😉   I think Dylan talked about school stuff and various classes and people they both knew there, ranting about how he hated school, musical groups, ranting about how he hated school, movies, various drinks, ranting about how he hated school and didn’t want to go there, awkwardly being kind of flirty with emoticons 😉 while drinking and mistypng 😛  Sadly, he never got to another level of intimacy and comfortability with a girl to risk sharing his innermost thoughts.
