What question about Dylan do you get the most?

Relationship questions are always very, very common:

“what would Dylan’s perfect girlfriend be like?”
“what would Dylan be like as a boyfriend?”
“what would Dylan be like in bed?”
“what about his bondage and foot fetish thing?”
“what would Dylan be like as a father if he got a girlfriend preggers?” *GAG*

etc., etc., etc..

Oh, and… can’t forget this one: 

“who do you think is Dylan’s Halcyon girl?”

And this is why the FAQ will be going up. 😏

Was Eric in the prom too? Are there any pics?

Eric never found a prom date. Instead, he had a date at his house watching the movie ‘Event Horizon’ with Susan DeWitt. After she went home, he headed over to CHS and attended the ‘After Prom’ and spent time at the gambling tables as the prom theme was “New York, New York”. Pictures were taken by friends and these photos remain private by their friends. The only photo roll that partially leaked to the media are of Dylan and Robyn at prom.

So I think I may be the only person who is a Columbine researcher who feels extremely bad for Elliot Rodger. I really feel for the guy, and I can’t put my finger on it. I guess it’s because people disliked him when he was alive and when he died. Even his father wished he was never born. Eric or Dylans parents never said that :/

Just going to point out here that the populace, in general, tends to ‘dislike’ all mass murdering fuckheads when they died simply for the fact of the violence they perpetrated, the lives they ended and the misery they brought forth. Elliot is no exception here as is Dylan and Eric, and all the rest of ‘em. Fact is, they made that choice to be forever disliked.

People did try to like Elliot; the problem was he disliked them for whatever various reasons that didn’t meet his rigid criteria and high standards. His demeanor is incredibly imperious and self entitled. Eric and Dylan had a different sorts of superiority complexes but goddamnit, they at least put themselves out there and made attempts to find some sort of place to fit in. The tried in their own failing ways and so I give them credit for that.

The biggest tragedy I find with Elliot is that he needed much more attention and help with social cues and integration earlier on but his parents put him on the back burner of their lives and waited too long and so his social problems grew worse. Then his parents are guilty for compensating for their lack of attention by giving him the monetary fine things he demanded whenever he’d stomp his foot like a petulant little brat. Near the last few months leading up to his ‘Day of Retribution’, Elliot began to take the only friend or two that he did manage to have and snubbed them until he was utterly isolated looking down on the world in utter distain from his castle of superiority. Let’s not forget too he also stabbed his hapless asian roommates because he could not abide by them, they were too beneath him to tolerate.

Also, it’s not Elliot’s father that wished he was never born, that was Adam Lanza’s father.

It’s a slow dance song from the 80′s.  Like any prom, there’d be popular fast dance songs and slow dance numbers. They were lucky to coax Dyl on to the dance floor but that’s  in fact exactly what happened that night, they got the boy out there.  Bless. Probably didn’t dance too much but at least he did, it was something. And I doubt this would’ve happened at all had Eric also attended the prom.

I’m still not sure how to reply to posts on Tumblr but I wanted to say thank you! Not just for the comments on my drawings but for your blog in general. You present the facts and any sort of speculation in a clear and insightful way that is extremely helpful for someone like me who’s looking for answers. Honestly I wouldn’t know half the things about Columbine (and Dylan in particular) if I didn’t read your responses. Thank you!

I’m glad E-C has been a good learning experience for you about Dyl.  That is a lovely high compliment as far as I’m concerned. TY. Makes it all worth while and re-reminds me why I feel compelled to blog about the ‘beautiful long-legged monolith’  Mr. DK.   And, btw, to reply to a post, you just hit the reblog button and add a comment at the bottom.  Though, I definitely enjoyed getting a personal message from you if not more. 🙂   Look forward to seeing more of your expressions of Mr. V..and the boys. ❤

Did Dylan date Sasha or did they just go out on dates?

Chad Laughlin hooked Sasha Jacobs up with Dylan. She went out with Dylan one no more than two dates. I believe this was the ‘group dating’ that Dylan’s dad spoke of  so it wasn’t even really a serious date as the Klebold’s would’ve pointed out in the 11K that Dylan actually went on couples only dates too. Her vibe about Dylan on the date:  ‘”there was something strange about him and she felt uncomfortable with him.” This basically amounts to Dylan feeling extremely socially awkward, uncomfortable and up tight on a first ‘date’ with the opposite sex; he was exuding these nervous vibes that put her off.  Dylan really needed to be comfortable with the girl as a friend first or to know her better casually, I do believe, before dating could be more natural for him. This is especially the case for someone with debilitating social anxiety disorders like AvPD as I’m of the opinion that he had.    She then moved on to going out with Eric.  Again, it likely started out as group dating and then one-on-one dating.  According to her, she dated Eric approximately 16-20 times between Oct ‘97 and Jan ‘98 and then she stopped wanting to date him. So you obviously aren’t as fond of Eric as Dylan, but do you at least think Eric was attractive?

If you say so? *laughs* Eric was good looking enough and in a more conventionally attractive sort of way than Dylan. How’s that for non biased? 😳 But also, like Dylan, Eric hadn’t grown into his head size, face and with Eric – that long, pointy english nose just yet in a manner that was more proportionate to his thin body frame. But within a few years, into his mid twenties, he would’ve filled out more nicely, a bit more muscular/stockier and would’ve grown into his prime adult male look and yes, would’ve been a good looking sort of ‘type’. If you dig that sort of type. He does militant well. And I’ll add that he had very nice bone structure as in, good angular cheek bones. Hed had potential model features And, of course, 😬 he’d absolutely hate that I said that. But what else is new there? 😏 haha
