I asked this question but it was never posted. What sunglasses did Eric have? What were they called?? By the way Zack Heckler wore a white hat in the video where Dylan is in theater class…how ironic. Dylan on 4/20: Everyone with white hats STAND UP.

Honestly, I really have no idea what kind of sunglasses Eric wore. I do know that his style of shades is harder to find these days more so than Dylan’s. I have not researched Eric’s sunglasses for.. obvious reasons. 😉

Ironic, yeah I suppose. But then Dylan knew that Zack pretty much marched to a beat of his own drum and didn’t partake in any particular clique dress codes. Zack didn’t wear a trench coat either; he just wore whatever he felt like.

I will forever wonder what this mysterious, greco-roman dwelling is at the very end of the Morning Ritual.  Looks like something out of a movie. Also looks like a cemetery mausoleum.  Somehow it’s familiar..but I just can’t place it.

Things that make you go hmmmm…

weird question and im not sure if it’s been asked before or anything, but how do you think dylan slept? like, fidgety or a mumbler or something? i can personally see him as a big cuddle sleeper!

Given how Dylan’s mind was constantly active and in a state of El Thoughtzos all day, the first few minutes in to slumberland, he’d be in that state where his body would kind of jerk and twitch so that when he finally dropped off, he was dead to the world. He’d be sprawled out, snoring, yeah lol, but not an obnoxiously loud snorer. Liked the room dark and if any sliver of light came in his bedroom in the late morning on a weekend, he’d have a pillow over his face so he could continue to Zzzzzz until 1 pm when mom would peek her head in the room. Really hard to wake him up, he’d be blurry eyed af for a while and staring and quiet. Yeah, a cuddler, a spooner with his arm and leg lazily drapped over his gal engulfing her, and his face and nose buried in the nape of her neck, drooling a wee bit. lol Sleep would be the reprieve from the burden of his mind; the escape from being the ‘transceiver of the everything’.

What do you think Dyl would say if/when asked what his earring meant?

Well, uh….It’s the dark and light, the good and bad that equals me. It’s the sum of who I am in a perpetual state of conflict split down the middle of this contrary force of an equation. One force would not exist without the other and to battle it, to struggle and hope to prevail is pointless because it just is.   Day will become night and night will become day as good will become bad and bad will become good.   It’s a universal constant, an ever-lasting contrast..
*awkward laugh*

What do you think about Wrath shirts? would you ever wear it? most people I know thinks it’s a way to honor Dylan smh.

I can’t speak for those that choose to wear his WRATH shirt however, to me personally, the shirt honors Dylan’s cathartic freedom on 4/20 – but it also represents his indulgent, selfish, war-like rebellious, dark empowerment. It’s strong and powerful but it’s also hate and pain, not only for others but himself. You have to fully understand just what you’re honouring when you wear it.  It’s the nature of what he became not who he really was nor what he wanted to be. I prefer to wear a counterbalance of his shirt because this is what his heart’s desire truly longed for. Love ❤️, Peace ✌🏻, Happiness and BLISS. 🌟 I feel I honour Dyl best by wearing this. 😊

They say Dylan knew Rachel, but Eric did not. Are we sure? Rachel smoked so she’d be at the “Smokers Pit”. She definitely made small talk with Dylan there at least a few times, so how wouldn’t Eric speak to her? He had to have at least seen her or ***known*** her

I don’t think Eric really knew her enough to feel comfortable chatting her up or to know her as an individual. I think he was probably well aware she was a christian type and also may have known that she was the drama/theater/artsy sort because of the fact that Dyl worked sound in theater production. I do seem to recall that the Scott family mentioned that she was in one of the boys’ video production classes and that not long before the shooting, she’d confronted them as to why they chose such violent themes for their videos but this has not been verified as fact. Plus, the Scotts tends to perpetuate incidences that will support their story for their daughter’s christian cause.  At any rate, the Smokers Pit was not necessarily an neutral zone invitation for everyone that happened to be hanging out and getting their smoke fix to be openly social.  It’s not like they’d all suddenly forget which clique they belonged to and chatted anyone there who showed up. I’d say students still pretty much hung in their designated social circles.  Maybe a nod or a ‘hi’ acknowledgment was made by unfamiliar students hanging there with them but not much beyond that.  On the rare occasion they were sneaking weed and a girl they knew to be chill enough took a toke with them.  I think that sort of thing didn’t happen too often though. I really just don’t think Eric knew Rachel all that well enough to converse with her.

So Dylan and Eric would have hated Elliot, and probably bully him. How would Eric and Dylan treat shooters like Cho, or Adam Lanza?

Cho – indifference other than the fact that his kill count was impressive for a lone shooter. Plus, well, he’s asian.. Insert derogatory comment from The Reb.
*shrugs* ”Not too bad for a …… “

Lanza – contempt for mowing down innocent little kids.  Victimizing non-equals just isn’t respectible. It’s be:   “I hate Lanza!  Geeeaawd..”

They wouldn’t understand him a all – but the feeling is/would be mutual though according to Lanza.

Funny how shooters wouldn’t even get along with their peer shooters, huh. Ahh, misanthropy…  😉

Do you know the name of the blog on here that has went over and reviewed all the chapters in Dave Cullen’s book? I was on their blog but then tumblr crashed on me and I can’t remember how I found their account.

That would be thedragonrampant who wittily reviewed a goodly amount of Cullen’s atrocious book ‘Columbine’.  Check out her latest review (and rant-fest), a “Special Edition’ of Chapter 40 entitled Psychopath

Hey I just wanted to say thank you so much for running this blog. I used to have the “ew soulless killers can burn in hell i’m glad they killed themselves” mindset but you’ve helped me to humanize them. and as someone who’s depressed I now know empathize so deeply with Dyl and feel so much love for him and Eric.

Well, that is very gratifying to hear. Thank you for sharing your sudden change of heart impart due to E-C. I’m glad you’ve had an epiphany of sorts.  Recognizing the boys doesn’t mean you condone it simply means you understand them with more depth.. Just be sure to take care where your depression is concerned because it really can be very alluring to find yourself doing the dance of depression along side Dyl in your recognition of mirrored feelings..  💖  -I-|-I-
