Yes, the Ever-lasting contrast. Since existence has known, the 'fight' between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good. My fav. contrasting symbol, because it is so true & means so much – the battle between good & bad never ends… Here we ponder on the tragedy of Dylan Klebold.
I do, yes – and that goes for Eric too. It’s interesting how both families mirror the exact same dynamic: Dylan and Eric as both the younger brother to an older brother who is exactly 3 years older. And I don’t think that’s coincidental that there is a linking pattern between them. I feel as though the two would’ve benefitted from having some more yin or female energy in their families. It would’ve helped both boys learn how to feel more comfortable around the opposite sex. I explored this a tad bit here in regards to Dylan with a sister.
Oh, it was pretty ridiculously stupid not really hilarious. Someone posted an advertisement for the Columbiner prom on April 17th and people would pick dates and ask one another out for a sort of mock prom. askreb asked out a chick that went by something like ‘pistol’ (of course) and I think they sort of ‘dressed up’. Well, on the day of, nobody had the slightest idea of what to actually do since it was virtual reality, right? lol I think someone organized a Tinychat room, someone posted an ani gif disco ball, but it was basically a half-baked idea that sounded a whole lot better than it actually turned out to be.
Well, we’ll see what I can do. No promises that I’ll be able to find any screenshots. 🙂 This is like coming up on 6 years now. Yikes. Time sure does fly.
There’s some remnants of askreb here..but not enough to give you guys a really good idea of how well they channeled Rebster. Perhaps I’ll poke around a bit this weekend and see if I can find anything. No one has ever beat that impersonator since. Not by a long shot. We’re reminiscing back in the day when Ask impersonators was the chic trend in the Columbiner TCC years before the abysmal imagines took over the scene like virii. lol And the one and only AskReb was literally like having the real live Rebby in the flesh answering asks oh so snarkily. And when he didn’t want to answer, you got a GEEEE-AAAAAAAAAWWWD!! I remember the one VoDkA was fairly good but not at all to the caliber of AskReb. Classic, epic moments in the Columbiner community. The Columbiner prom was such a flop. The build up of the event was more exciting and then when we got to the actual ‘Day Of’ people were like ‘uuh, so, like, now what do we do?’ lol And but of course, The Brooks Tumblr Scandal and all that was seen and unfortunately, could not be UNseen. Everyone watching his image crash and burn like a train wreck as he slinked away without a peep. You literally could not look away even though you hated every moment of discovering what the real Brooks was like. Certainly not the hero so many imagined him out to be after reading No Easy Answers. No, simply a flawed, dysfunctionally damaged person with no scruples when it comes to indulging himself with willing young lolitas girls and leveraging stories of his dead friends for the chance to have a kinky escapade. Girls using Brooks for E & D info and Brooks using E & D to use girls. Yikes. Reality can be ugly.
It was the best of times and the worst of times all at once. But one thing is for sure: it was much more memorable of a time than what the tag has been reduced to in recent years. Thanks for indulging me a bit of nostalgia. 😉

Instead of becoming paralyzed by her grief and remorse, she has become a passionate and effective agent working tirelessly to advance mental health awareness and intervention.
Sue is such an incredible speaker and I know it takes such courage and strength to speak about such taboo subjects in today’s society, especially when it is such a sensitive subject for so many. She has never faltered to speak her truth and what she believes is best for the mental health community. I truly hope one day every has the chance and the pleasure to meet this wonderful woman.
