Recent bisexuality question anon: I have read those post before and my question was more about where exactly the claim that Brooks said Dylan was bisexual comes from. I’m interested in where Brooks was linked to the rumor not whether or not it is true. Sorry that wasn’t clear in my original message.

You know it’s vague to me as to where Brooks might’ve said this. I’m not even entirely certain that I saw the original source other than others having mentioned that Brooks said as such. It may have been a rumor that got spun into fact from people passing it around.  If and when I see it, I’ll post it. 

Was Dylan as self-conscious about his white hair streak as his other features he loathed?

Nah, he seemed cool and matter-of-fact about it.

With my question before about Sarah and Dylan I mean what happened between them? Did she and him talk online she said, wouldn’t her chats be there with him if they ever did talk online? Did she like him? Anything sort of evidence you can tell me? :) thank you. Also who was Sarah, I mean like was she “popular” or who?

I’m guessing you might have missed this post on Sarah that I linked a couple posts down?  Sarah and Dylan conversed online in freshman year;  she associated with Dylan in 9th and 10th grade and lost touch with him by junior year. This was quite some time before Dylan and Eric had started planning NBK so it’s unlikely Jeffco would’ve made any concerted effort to raid her computer for convos between them.  And I doubt she held on to them as they were just casual chats with a guy that she basically friendzoned. Sarah was part of the theater crowd and knew Rachel Scott. She was not a popular type but more of an artsy outcast.

In your opinion would you have felt it disrespectful if Columbine had kept the library where it was instead of being torn down? Btw was the library torn down before the school opened again after the shootings or was that later on?

Not just disrespectful but far too uncomfortable for students and staff to manage to spend any amount of time in that room again knowing what went on there.  Far too traumatic. The library was still there when the school reopened in August ‘99, just shy of 3.5 months after the massacre, but was sealed up and a row of temporary blue lockers put in front of it.  The library was later torn down and extensive renovations were done the following year after funds had been raised by the community. The victim’s families input were heavily considered in regards to the changes that would be made. 

I just read in the 11k that a lot of the witnesses were asked about knowing someone with a double pierced eyebrow. What was that about?

It’s unknown why they were asking around about this. Perhaps a lead at the time was that one of the shooters had a double pierced eyebrow.  Three students were identified as sporting a single or double pierced eyebrow and that is Bree Pasquale (she was in the library and was taunted by Eric), Mark Hengel and Brendan Reisbeck (who was more or less a jock). Ultimately, it would seem that the lead involving such a specific piercing description never proved to go anywhere. 

in the car wax video or whatever it was called many argue it is either eric harris or eric veik that’s talking and laughing especially whoever says “dylan can yell real good” do you know who it was that’s actually talking the majority of the time?

 Eric Harris, and without question  “Dylan can yell really good”  Although I do think Chris Morris is bossy off camera too. I feel like it’s more him than Eric Veik.

In your own opinion, do you think Eric and Dylan ever imagined that the basement tapes would be destroyed? They spoke about the police cutting out sections and whatever, but do you think they would be pissed at the fact they’ve not been seen by the public?

Yeah, I think they’d be pissed but at the same time kicking themselves that they didn’t make it a priority to mail those suckers to a few news stations.  But I think they’d also be kind of jaded about the authorities censoring total release of their stuff, like, “OF course..”  followed by a cocky puffed up ‘we must be pretty damn bad ass if the cops are too terrified to release any scrap of it to the public. What the fuck could they possibly be afraid of.. the truth?’
