this – Dark. Light. God. Lucifer. Heaven. Hell. GOOD. BAD. Yes, the Ever-lasting contrast. Since existence has known, the ‘fight’ between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good. My fav. contrasting symbol, because it is so true & means so much – the battle between good & bad never ends… The tragedy that is Dylan Klebold.

Save for the last sentence, uh, I didn’t write that. Someone else did. But c’mon now, ‘Edgy’ is such an overused word. Ironically, people use it to be edgy themselves. Lol

Dylan was an unreliable narrator due to his downward spiral of depression. Can we really take his writings at face value or should we be skeptical of his claims and outlooks?

What exactly makes a ‘reliable narrator’ when it comes to writing private thoughts and feelings in our own journals? For it can only be personally biased and in accordance to our own individual interpretation about life and the universe. Dylan was depressed and the world around him is filtered through his negative ‘downward spiral’ and magical thinking colored perspective. This is his own truth. It’s not a standard which the rest of us can judge as truthful or not. However, many that are similarly depressed would probably agree that they understand what feels like truth to them in his writings. But he makes no claims to which others should be in agreement with. His reality is all that matters to him because this is his private meanderings. Some might resonate with his thoughts and feelings and others may not at all. In a way, Dylan’s journal is like art and it is all very relative and open to the individual’s interpretation.

“To some I am crazy
It is so clear, yet so foggy
Everything’s connected, separated
I am the only interpreter of this”

Did Dylan or Eric ever talk about a serial killer like ted bundy or Jeffery dahmer?

No supporting evidence. However, I do think the boys probably had an interest and fascination for some True Crime murder cases, the psychology of serial killers and whatnot. It’s probably why the two elected Psychology class so they could learn about psychological quirks and to delve into things like psychopathology and other mental disorders. And there is the fact that Dylan did choose to write an in-depth essay on Charles Manson and his family which was no doubt seen as weird by his classmates in such a goody-good high school.

“We are but we aren’t psycho” – Dylan Klebold.   I think those two could’ve run circles around Cullen in a debate as to whether they were legit psychos.  haha

Why do you say you can’t write? I think you write well! You’re being a bit harsh on yourself, don’t be such a Capricorn and admire your writing skill. 😘 plus, if you can’t write than I’m illiterate.

Because I feel like it’s hard for me to articulate everything effectively and my sentences meander and run-on. And it’s very difficult for me to download the feelings and impressions into human words and deal with the whole punctuation and grammar thing. Sometimes it flows and other times it’s taxing on me even if it’s just a silly paragraph. Try a self-critical Capricorn with a Gemini Moon and it might make better sense to you. 😣 After I post something, Gem Moon has me editing or adding on to a post several times until I’m finally done.  All I know is I’m just never quite happy with any of it.  But thank you all the same if you see decent writing where I cannot. ❤️
