Hi Miss E-C! Thanks again for answering my question a while ago, I really appreciate it!💕 I was just wondering (because I haven’t found it in the e-c search) was what if Eric or Dylan took an MMA or self-defense training course? They might’ve been able to channel their anger in a more healthy way I think. Probably might’ve felt a release, and also the sense of power and confidence they seemed to need. Did they even have those types of classes in the 90s? Hmmm… What are your thoughts?
Hey you! Anytime.💖 Yeah, I think those would’ve been great for the two and very cathartic. Hell, even something very violent and physical like boxing or pounding a punching bag for an hour or so a day. They were stuck inside their heads mentally all the time. They’d come home from school peeved or despondent and just shut the door to their bedrooms and sat down to play first-person shooter video games for hours on end into the evening. Shut away in their rooms disconnected from family. None of the energy really went anywhere; It just built up. They both needed to be able to get into an intense physical activity that would’ve allowed for expressing their pent-up aggression. Any of the MMA also have the side benefit of mental discipline and focus while connecting with various opponents. Of course, they had such things in the 90s. I mean, after all, it wasn’t that far back in the day. lol So, yes, I agree any of those would’ve been great. I can see the two being skittish about it at first but I think Eric would actually appreciate the discipline of martial arts and Dylan would’ve learned better coordination and could’ve released a lot of his internalized, suppressed rage. Think of how the two of them sounded when they were fighting Radioactive Clothing. Sure, it was play acting but the two engaging in an imaged fight/battle actively purged a lot of charged emotions in a burst of a couple of seconds. They needed to do stuff like that regularly and get in touch with their anger and powerful emotions. I think they would’ve loved the movie Fight Club which unfortunately came out after they’d died that year. The two longed to brawl with the freshmen at school. They wanted to take action but that confrontation ended up unresolved. But there are other ways to exorcise physical aggressions and MMA or other intense physical ‘fighting’ sports activities would’ve made them feel as though they were taking action, releasing pent of energies and would’ve also made them feel empowered and confident in themselves.

Was the AOL screen name wurmhole ever confirmed as being Dylan’s? Since we know he had penchant for getting kicked off of AOL! :)
No record of whether it was confirmed or not but I’d assumed so since it was listed on his original profile before it had been tampered with. But aside from getting punted by AoL ToS violation, Dylan would hack and assume someone else’s handle and account thereby avoiding membership fees so he could muck about and practice more hacking. So, there’s a smidge of a possibility that wurmhole belonged to someone else originally.
Would you want to live in the Klebold house? How much is it/ how much do you think it’s worth? When you went to CO did you see the house in the flesh/ how did you feel when you saw the house that Dyl lived in? I hope you’re well💖
The house’s estimated public record value is $740,880 with an estimated market value of $1,187,000 based on tax assessment records, recent sale prices of comparable properties, and other factors. I did indeed visit the house ‘in the flesh and here are the photos I took on my quest through Littleton. How did I feel? Well..I was in absolute awe. It was hard to believe I’d finally made it there, you know? My mind’s eye soaked everything up and when I stood at the foot of the long, winding driveway, I could envision Dylan’s beamer speeding down it each day like the speed freak mad man he was. The landscape was so breathtakingly beautiful and the sounds of the neighbor’s children playing echoed against the rocks of the pink canyon walls. And I realized that the sounds of Dylan and Byron playing as children would’ve been exactly the same. Let’s just say it was very emotional experience in that very moment. 🙂 Would I want to live there? No, I wouldn’t, to be honest. It’s not really my architectual style anyway. Now, visiting it. That’s a whole other matter. 😏
Thank you! Hope you are well too! ✨💖

dylan between takes in hitmen for hire, “okay, just keep recording, it’s all good.”
i can’t help but wonder what devon said to dylan to upset him so much. tbh i kind of wonder if maybe she made a jab about his sexuality or failure with girls. i know it sounds mean but i cant imagine what else would have upset dylan so much and i know devon isnt straight but it was the 90s and high school kids have always said shit that isnt exactly pc
We really don’t really know just how upset Dylan was versus how upset Devon was and over what. Devon may have equated Dylan’s avoidance of her as him being upset. But perhaps he just thought he mucked things up and didn’t know how to make amends with her first. And it sounds like they had a few tiffs here and there where they butt heads as friends do from time-to-time. It wasn’t just a one-time pow-wow deal between them. But I seriously doubt Devon would’ve been that petty to criticize Dylan over his sexuality or his lack of women for being a shy guy. I just don’t see that at all.
Why didn’t they kill the bullies? They killed random people. It just doesn’t make sense. If they wanted revenge, them why kill people they don’t even know?
First off, Columbine was meant to be a bombing of 250-500 people in the cafeteria which would’ve also destroyed the library directly above it. However, many of the jocks (aka bullies basically) had A lunch during the time they planned for the bombs to explode. So, their thinking was probably a way to kill two birds with one stone. The plan was never to specifically go after the jocks or any other groups or certain individuals. Plus, going after individuals would’ve been an inefficient time waster trying to locate and hunt them down within the school. By the time they pursued and shot one or two people on their hit lists, the cops might’ve been on the scene by then. What sounds more effective: efficiently bombing a bunch of people you hate in one area or wasting time killing a handful on your hit list – when time is of the essence? Some wonder why they didn’t go to the gym or weight room where you would think the jocks would be but I speculate that they had a bit of an apprehension about being overtaken by a gang of jocks..even with weapons. In their minds, it was easier to take out the tumor of the school by detonating the heart of it where many people would be eating lunch that day or studying directly above in the library..and plenty of those students would’ve been enough jocks to satisfy them. Why kill a bunch of classmates that they didn’t know? Collateral damage. They believed the entire school system, the teachers, and all the students a part of that system were complicit and culpable for their suffering so it no longer mattered going after specific individuals since the whole place was rotten in their mind. They wanted to destroy the entire school like the massive, malignant tumor that it was in their minds. They wanted to destroy what destroys you them.
If they considered Austin Eubanks (we don’t know for sure they considered him one, right?) a jock and that’s why he was on Eric’s list, do you think they considered Corey DePooter a jock too? I say this because Corey was Austin’s best friend… I don’t know if Corey was on their lists (I don’t think so) but I didn’t know about Austin so… I hope you understand what I mean and sorry for any mistakes :)
I don’t believe Corey was on their list. Though, I’m sure they probably would’ve labeled him a jock by their criteria. I mean the thing is, if they didn’t know people, it was easy for them to assume things and label people ‘a jock’ based on how they looked overall, how they dressed or who they hung out with. I don’t believe the boys connected Corey to Austin Eubanks or it wasn’t even a case of them even reasoning “oh it’s a jock, he’s friends with Austin, let’s shoot him.” I honestly do not think they targeted Corey; he was shot randomly under the library table. And they certainly missed killing Austin altogether even if he was on their Hit List. At the end of the day, the boys’ massacre in the library was super random and uncalculated. They walked around the maze-like library. They sometimes saw people and made fun of whoever they were standing in front of and the rest of the time they were pointing their guns willy-nilly under the table and shooting whoever was cowering underneath it. If they injured someone, they didn’t bother noticing whether they didn’t thoroughly kill them. Some got maimed and others ended up mortally wounded depending on where the bullet/s hit them. And they just kept moving around and shooting haphazardly.
hey! i wanted to say that you’ve got a great content, keep it up! thank you for that. also, how do you think dylaneric would’ve reacted if a girl that they didn’t know and didn’t see before asked them out? spontaneously, on the street. thank you again! ( also, i probably made some mistakes… english isn’t my 1st language, so sorry).. have an amazing day!

Thank you ❤ You have yourself an amazing week ahead. 🙂
Hi miss E-C love your blog, I have a little question/good for thought. You know the way Devon said Dyl never talked about any girls he liked but she knew that he liked them by “the way he looked at them” so you ever ponder that if Dylan did have a crush on Devon she’s noticed it, at least slightly? (I tried searching this but didn’t find anything)
It’s kind of hard to say. I tend to think Dylan got really flustered and blushed with that big chin grin incessantly when he was visually drinking in a girl that he liked a whole lot or observed them talking among friends or even trying to reciprocate in conversation with them (as best he could manage). Devon likely noticed that he was especially awkward with these certain girls in particular. I think he was more at ease with Devon because she was so easy going and down to earth. Super easy to talk to and joke with. She probably didn’t take him seeing her that way, if he ever did, and interpreted his response to her as just that best friend, like platonically close and warm like with a brother. She also probably wouldn’t consider that her boyfriend’s best friend might have attractional feelings for her. Again, this is all theorizing. The fondness between the two is evident but beyond platonic is guessing territory.
and thank you! 🙂
I completely feel you on the purge. I’m doing the same on my closet ;) I’m not sure if you got my question or had a thought on it BUT I was curious to know if someone did a movie or miniseries based on A Mothers Reckoning how would you want it played out? What key events (other than 4/20) do you think would be important in telling this story? Who would play Sue and Dylan?? I would hope it would be a well done film.
Uh, hm. I’m gonna be honest here and say I would never want to see a made-for-tv ‘miniseries’ on Sue’s book. I shudder to think what celebrity actors ABC execs would cast for Dylan, Sue and Tom, Bryon. Yikes.. Just calling it a ‘miniseries’ makes my stomach turn, tbh. It cheapens Sue’s experience. I just think some historical events the likes of Columbine, which is all too relevant today with all the reoccurring mass shootings, should’nt be entertained and trivialized by turning it into tv nightly drama for entertainment. It’s disrespectful to the victims and their families too that ‘the shooters’ is getting airtime entertainment. Sue’s book is one thing but as it was, she was very timid and cautious releasing her written story because she expected a whole lot of negative backlash. But handing over her personal tragedy to a director to add their creative license to is disrespectful and I highly doubt she’d concede to it. And I don’t have any faith that casting could ever find the right actor fit. I’m pretty picky about stuff like that. It’d likely be a major turn-off for me. I’m sure this is probably not the answer you were hoping for. 😉
Fun fact: The 90’s one hit wonder track “she’s so high” by Tal bachman was released the same day as the Columbine shooting. Every time it plays on the radio it makes me think of the Columbine days
Oh, yeah. That song definitely takes me right back. 😐 A very Dylanesque song in lyrics, I might add.
i was wondering… did dylan had secrets that not even his journal knew? like do you imagine it? (sorry for my english i’m learning) btw, i follow you since like 2015, wow im shook
You mean to say, did Dylan have more secrets beyond what he wrote in his journal? Probably. Dylan certainly didn’t write about a whole lot that went on in his mundane life. He wrote every so often, every couple of months – not consistently every week – and often he focused on the same subjects. Hard to say what his secrets would’ve been. That’s why he didn’t write about it. It was secret. 😉 Wow, you are a long time E-C’er. That blows me away too! Haha. Thank you for such a loyal follow.
rebdomine-rebismine(.)tumblr(.)com(/)post(/)130194182121(/)columbine-evidence-that-are-missing — Hey! This is the post (without brackets ofc) that I asked you about (missing evidence). Though now I’m starting to wonder if they meant Dylan’s medical records instead of his autopsy?
Well, if the reference is Dylan’s full medical records, yes, I believe it’s true that that was not released in full from childhood on up. I don’t believe at all, actually. Conversely, we do have quite a fair bit of Eric’s medical records.
The Lego community is huge and there are advanced and expensive models coming out readily for adolescents and adults. Do you think Dylan would have continued to build and be interested in Legos as an adult?
Oh yeah. I tend to think Dylan would still be buying and building Legos with his own kids. 😦 He’s be dusting off those stored bins of his beloved models to share with them too. I’m kind of hoping that Sue saved Dylan’s Legos sets and passed them on for Byron’s son to enjoy. 🙂 But to answer your question, I think once you’re into Legos, you will always be into them. And Dylan was going through a period where he was ready to put them aside but as an adult and dad, he’d enjoy the nostalgia and would be getting back in to all of that for enjoyment with his kids.

To kick off its inaugural Breakfast of Champions event in May, the Canadian Mental Health Association will have Sue Klebold, the mom of one of the shooters in the Columbine high school massacre, as guest speaker.
On April 20, 1999, Grade 12 students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold executed a complex and planned attack on their Colorado school, shooting and killing 12 students and a teacher and wounding 24 others before killing themselves. Sue has written a book “A Mother’s Reckoning” in which she shares stories about Dylan, as well as her life since the shooting. She is now a suicide prevention activist.
On May 1, the CMHA will hold its Breakfast of Champions at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts. The event is billed as a forum for thought-provoking, powerful conversations that touch on various aspects of mental illness. Kim Willis, the agency’s director of communications and mental health promotion, said Klebold was booked last year and it’s coincidental that Klebold is coming in the wake of shooting massacres at a Florida high school and a Las Vegas concert.
“She’s dealing with things on some many different levels,” Willis said. “Whether it’s a child that’s dealing with mental illness or the afterward grief and bereavement. Also, she has her own mental health (issues) afterwards, so it touched on so many important topics that we thought she would bring as a great speaker here.”
The event will also include the presentation of the first Carol Mueller Mental Health Champion award. Mueller was a leader of ALIVE Canada whose mandate was suicide prevention and education.
“We’ve made tremendous strides in the last decades toward addressing stigma, and change has happened and is happening, but we still come across people who are more reluctant to share when they are dealing with a mental illness,” Willis said. “So the more we normalize it and bring awareness to it, and getting people talking about it, the better.”
Tickets for the event are available at windsoressex.cmha.ca
