The amount of hate the harris’ get is a little too much considering they lost their son and not talking about him, etc. can be their form of coping

Maybe so..but the mixed reaction regarding the Harris family is what it is as a result of them deciding to go ghost for over 19 years.  That’s the price you pay for total and complete privacy. People are always going to wonder where you’re coming from, how you felt about your son, etc.  I can understand taking 5-10 years to cope and process the grief.  But I’m skeptical that two decades on that ‘quietly coping’ is an easy crutch of an excuse that continues to allow them to circumvent accountability and responsibility altogether.

As far as the comment of women over 30 thinking E and D were handsome, it’s kind of odd considering they would have been 37 this year. So maybe a lot of them are just thinking “when I was 17 I would have thought they were quite cute.” or that they looked like regular kids that they would have gone to school with back in the day? Or am I being a pollyanna LOL.

You’ve put a lot of thought into this, I can tell. Bless you!  But please don’t hurt your head over what is most probably a trolling comment. 😉  Switzerland here because simply put, an attraction is not something people can help no matter what age they are. Age judging/shaming comments do get my vote for strongly disagree

April 20th National School Walkout

adastraelgenesis:

April 20th, 2018 marks the 19th anniversary of the Columbine shooting. On February 14th, the Parkland shooting surpassed Columbine in the number of casualties and injuries. In each of these massacres, “thoughts and prayers” were all that were given—not gun control, not change, not so much as recognition after disaster, any “thought” of the event quickly being swept under the rug immediately after the slaughter of civilians.

April 20th, 2018 marks a national school walkout. Every student in every school across the U.S. is encouraged to participate. Spread the word, tell your friends, tell your peers, tell anyone that you can. At 10:00 AM, we begin the walkout, we protest, and we make ourselves heard.

We live in a nation where our elected officials hold the right to own a machine of mass murder above the lives of innocents. Yet, the moment anyone talks about the issue, they are condemned for speaking out, damned to silence, because “now isn’t the time to be political” — the exact reason we never get anything done. If now isn’t the time to talk about change, there will never be a time to enforce it.

Even now, as students plan to make themselves heard, as they plan to fight for the right to not be gunned down when trying to receive an education, administrators are threatening to punish those who act. They claim they have far more power over the matter than they actually do, threatening suspension and disciplinary action. Even if they do act out on this, I feel I speak for many others when I say that I will gladly face discipline over the fear of any day in school becoming the last for myself or those around me.

If those leading the country will do nothing to save us, then the call to action falls into our hands. We will do what our officials have failed to do and make a difference.

We are students. We are victims. We are change. Our voices will be heard. Our fighting will never cease.

Signal boost!

Why do u think E (and D) wouldnt condone what TJ did and said?

Because E and D knew when to draw the line. They would’ve known when to hold and when to fold, unlike TJ Lame. Once they’d been caught and apprehended, their badassery gig would’ve been up. And they would’ve known that fact and understood it well unlike Teej. They would’ve been all ‘yes, sir/ma’am’ in a court of law while confronted by their victim’s family members. They would’ve been very respectful and quiet because they’d also be waking up and coming back to reality.
