well, what i mean is, it’s not really to say that his age was 100% a determining factor, just the fact that BECAUSE he was 18 this new option had become available so they took it, instead of taking a broader look at things. make believe he was still 17 and I feel like his dx would’ve been different. i don’t deny the behavior was still there, but i think other issues were overlooked because that was the quickest “explanation” for his behavior.

Gotcha 👌🏻 Interesting theory regarding his age and that if Eric were under 18 they might’ve excused/minimized the diagnosis away. Though, all the same, I don’t think Dylan would’ve been pigeonholed a psychopath if he’d been 18 at the time.  However, I do think had they been caught, there would’ve been a push to try him with adult sentencing.
