Judy Brown talking about Dylan
Why do you think Dylan ate so much? I ask that because he mentioned something about jocks being big in weight size do you think that was Dylan way of wanting to be bigger? Or did he just like food lol like me
Gods no. lol While Dylan may have been secretly jealous of the easy/happy life the jocks appeared to have, Dylan most definitely didn’t want to emulate them physically or by way of dress. He positively loathed jocks to the core. Put simply, Dylan liked/enjoyed food and had a super fast metabolism. Although, he was super skinny near the end there and that’s partially due to a whole lot of stress regarding his mental/emotional state and what he was preparing to do (NBK).
Do you think Eric and Dylan was the kind of fans who would like to meet their favorite celebrities? Do they ever mention that?
Well, probably not the sort of ‘celebrities’ you might be referring to? I think the sort that they would’ve been absolutely stoked to meet would be say, John Romero, the creator of Doom, for Eric and Roger Clemens of the Boston Red Sox for Dylan – or Quinton Tarantino for both.
Hey I saw your post about not being able to enter Columbine, but if they are having a football game or something similar can I attend? (I go to another high school in Colorado)
You could watch a football game on their field outside the school. However, I would strongly discourage trying to enter the school for any after school sports events they have going on. Here is why that excuse doesn’t work anymore and could get you into a heap of trouble.
what did the cross of Salem mean to Dylan?
E-C Search “cross of Salem” to find out.
Is it true that Dylan was gonna go watch a movie with his friend Devon on April 21? :/
At prom Dylan danced with Devon Adams and made plans to see The Matrix on Wednesday, April 21st, which still perplexes her. “It could mean that they had planned [the shootings] and didn’t have a set date or something like that, you know,” she says. “It could mean anything. But it seems ‘cause Dylan never ever wanted to disappoint me.”
did eric hate people who laughed too much? like I read somewhere but idk if it is true lol
On the Basement Tapes, Eric with Dylan discuss Nick Foss in his psychology class and too much laughing:
Eric: “Shut the fuck up, Nick, you laugh too much! And those two girls sitting next to you, they probably want you to shut the fuck up, too! Jesus! Rachel and Jen…and.. whatever.“
and according to Brooks, Nick Baumgart…
Shortly after Eric and I had our falling-out, Eric figured out a way to get two of
his enemies with one shot. He and Dylan plotted a new “ Rebel Mission” against
Nick Baumgart. Eric had decided he didn’t like the way Nick laughed. It was ridiculous, but no more ridiculous than choosing to hate my brother for telling him to get off the computer, or hating me because I didn’t want to drive him to school anymore. The same “ clownish” traits that had made us laugh so hard at Nick’s antics in the library during freshman year now had Eric hating him with a passion. Go figure. Dylan and Nick had never been great friends, not even in grade school, and I imagine it wasn’t hard for Eric to convince him to help with the plan.
was Susan dewitt the only girl who accepted to go on a date with Eric?
On prom night? Yes.
Is it true that during 4/20, some people wanted to go in and try to stop them??😔
It’s true that Chris Morris and Tom Klebold wanted to go inside the school to stop them. They wouldn’t allow Chris to and Tom got to the school way too late. When Tom had called Sue at her office it was already 12:05 pm – 3 minutes before the boys shot themselves. 😦
“I was broke. I had to leave my truck in Oklahoma where it broke down. Now my college tuition is paid for. I’ve been criticized enough for this. What was it I did wrong? I know at least a dozen people who were offered money from the media.” -Nate Dykeman
I tried searching for this question and could not find anything. Is there any new documents, videos, or anything in relation to the case being released on the 20 year anniversary next year?
No. Jeffco considers the case closed so they would have no reason to release anything new. On the distant bright side, Eric and Dylan’s parents’ depositions are still due to release in 2027 so we’ve got another 9-year wait for that. Yikes, I know. 😉 My guess is that the 20th anniversary will sadly be a rehash with lots of Cullen propaganda used in media. Unless, of course, Randy Brown finally finishes and releases his book on Amazon. We may get some documentaries from some of ex CHS students. I know Sam Granillo was creating one called Wounded Minds. I’m not sure if the project is on hold though. Plus, the We Are Columbine doc.
Hi E-C!! I really love your blog, and I really appreciate everything you have to say💕. I was just curious: In the “Eric Inside Columbine” video, Mike makes an “L” sign on his forehead to a student walking by (at about 15:07). Eric turns to him and says quietly “I hate it when people do that, so don’t do it.” Do you think it’s because people did it to him and Dylan in school, or if it was just stupid in Eric’s mind? I’d really love to hear your standpoint :)
Aww, why thank. 🙂 ❤
Well, the L sign on the forehead means “Loser” and it became a thing in the nineties from pop culture. I tend to think that, yes, Eric (and at times probably with Dylan), experienced that gesture from others – jock, preps, etc. and he didn’t like that Mike was flippantly doing it with people he probably felt didn’t exactly deserve to be on the degrading receiving end of it.
Did Eric like his parents? What about Dylan?
Both liked and hated their parents all at the same time. Just like any other older teenage boy, you know? Their parents did things that annoyed the fuck out of them or pissed them off and that’s all natural, normal stuff when a dude starts to break away from his mom and dad, becoming an independent adult. At the same time, the loved their parents, of course. Dylan felt he had “better parents than most” and Eric felt unworthy of how “great” his parents were even though he felt they made mistakes. Ultimately, Eric felt like he failed living up to his parents especially his military dad. Dylan felt like he was in a state of failing his parents after being so model and perfect for them for many years in his childhood.. and it was only going to get worse if he continued on in this existence. Plus, over time, Dylan had mentally detached himself from what used to matter to him to the point where ending his suffering had become his goal priority. But love and respect for their parents wasn’t enough to stop them from sending a message they felt needed to be sent with NBK nor, they believed, would it put an end to the pain and discontent they felt they were suffering in their lives.
Hi!! I’m not the original anon poster who mentioned Dylan being uncooperative on his police custody report from the van break in but I did remember seeing what they saw. It almost looks like a smudge of pen next to cooperative, making it look like uncooperative. Towards the bottom, under “subject’s actions”.
Thanks for taking a look at it. I kind of suspected that was the case. The police are often pretty sloppy with their handwriting in general on those reports. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if they lazily ticked off in a nebulous fashion or that the ink smudged. Of course, had Dylan been uncooperative, you can bet his parents would’ve been notified and it’d surely be something mentioned in Sue’s book. Honestly, though, Dylan and Eric were docile little obedient, respectful fuckers once the shock and sting of being caught red-handed had fully begun to sink in.. Besides of which, the two had watched and mocked enough COPS episodes and were too intelligent to not become like the stupid fuckers that acted all belligerent and cray with the authorities on the show. lol
Why did E&D get up so early on april20?
They were busy little beavers with gear up and propane bomb prep to take care of.
Question
I️ wanna tell the FULL story of why I️ went to Colorado and shit and what happened. Should I??? With pics??
So basically I️ didn’t go to Colorado to see columbine, I️ went to visit a friend that lived there for New Years and we got a hotel and whatever (keep in mind that I️ live in Cali) and shit was fun and whatever and the next day my friend that lives in Colorado had to go to work so me and my other friend decided to go to columbine to kill time because why not? We’ve been interested in it for all these years anyway.
SO THEN we take an Uber to columbine and there’s a game going on and where I’m from, you’re allowed inside schools if there’s a game. So we went inside and we were just looking around for about 15 minutes, then a security guard came up to us and was asking all these questions and then we were like “we’ll just leave” and the security was like lol nope you thought. And then the security called the police, long story short, you’re not allowed inside columbine due to the “zero tolerance policy” and you WILL get a ticket. Possibly arrested even. And you’re not allowed there under any circumstances. So my friend and I️ are permanently banned from columbine because we were oblivious and made a stupid mistake. We do have a ticket and have court. So if you go to Colorado in hopes of seeing columbine, don’t. It’s not worth it. You also can’t take any pictures either. There’s certain things you can and can’t do, but to be safe, just appreciate from afar.
I️ also just wanna say, I’m not proud of this, I’m not bragging. I️m literally scared of Colorado now, I’m traumatized tbh. Just the full story.
We ended up having a good rest of the time despite our ticket. Just be safe and stay away from columbine 😂🌚If anyone has similar stories lmk
Important: Please read and heed their words. I get a lot of questions as to how you can ‘tour’ the school but that is not A Thing to be done. The reason I was inside CHS is because I was registered as part of a school safety/crisis response conference.
So, if you decide to enter the school, or think that you can wander in unassumingly with the alibi of ‘oh, I’m just watching a game’ you DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. The school is cracking down much tighter on the security these days.. as well they should. Think about it: CHS has such a notorious reputation that they kind of have to be the representation of a completely safe and secured school so that strangers can’t just loiter in it.
Wait did Robyn Anderson go to columbine too?
Wait why do you think she wouldn’t go there?
How long would it take to read the full 11k report?
A loooooooooooooong time. 😉 In all seriousness, it really depends on how fast a reader you are? There are portions of the report that I’m still discovering because it’s just a huge mofo document. When I stumbled upon something ‘new’ that I hadn’t really examined before, it’s like excavating of a new artifact to ponder.
A little jealous that Eric has more screen time/videos of him than Dylan 😂
Aw, sure, why the hell not.
Then again..we have Sue in our back pocket releasing new Dylan photos at conferences now and again. 😉
I always thought that big flash of light you see when Eric is shooting at the propane bombs is eerie, it’s only time you really see them actually shoot
That’s true that it is the only time we see them shoot during the massacre.
This is a photo I took while at the school last year. It’s the exact spot that Eric crouched down and took aim with his carbine at the bombs. This would be his pov sweet spot. Pay no mind to the broken window thingy on the lower left corner as that was a display. It’s a bit eerie seeing that smashed up thing right near this spot..all things considered. Also, notice how easy it is to see fairly clearly out the windows. This was around lunchtime so the exact time of day.
