Do you think Sue and Tom are still close? In her interview they took Sue near where she use to live with Tom and Dylan. To me it seemed like being back in the area was upsetting to her and like she didn’t go there very often. It seems like the tragedy was the only cause of their divorce. She still calls him her husband.

Sue and Tom remain friends and stay in each other’s lives as they have a son with a family of his own and so they are now grandparents spoiing their grandkids.   They are still pretty newly divorced after going separate ways in 2014.  I wouldn’t be surprised if Sue still referred to Tom as her husband out of habit and their long deep family history together.

If you know who Basedshaman is, what’s your opinion of him?

Disappointed in their interpretation of the boys’ journals videos.  I was hopeful at the beginning of his Dylan journal reading video because he seemed like he was getting how deep Dyl was with his thoughts but then the guy had a brainfart and chalked Dylan up to being crazy (and they deleted that vid. boo.).  Any shred of respect I had begun to acquire in the moment was lost, tbh. lol  My opinion is I don’t think much of them.  (They’re on youtube btw)

Hello Ms Everlasting! Im visiting Denver & Littleton in summer 2018, & I’d love a chance to go into the school as you did, but I dont want to seem as though Im treating it like a museum of some sort. Should I just scratch that idea & only look from the outside? Or perhaps take part in a conference in there like you did for an inside look? I want to respect the community as much as possible, & im not too sure which option i should take here. But it seems like a once in a lifetime chance to go in!

Hiya  Well, if you want to be respectful as you say you do than just visit the outside of the school. 🙂  Also, just so you know, the conference I went to was part of my job and credentials are needed to attend it for school safety and crisis response.  Some have snuck into the school but the security is very tight so it’s a risk doing so…for obvious reasons. 😉  I hope you enjoy the visit next summer – good luck! 🙂

I’m sure he probably thought he was an expert at it – which is rather amusing.  Well, at least, he did know more than most in his school but that doesn’t mean he was ‘fluent’ at it. I’m sure he’d have been laughed at by native speakers had he visited Germany.

Consider how he used the word ‘kleid’ which I’m told by other German speakers that it’s usually in reference to a form of female dress or frock. lol   I’m sure this is what he was taught with his High School textbook Deutsch 101.

do you think there’ll ever be a columbine movie, like there was with “my friend dahmer” ? im a film student and I’d like to make one (with the purpose of taking away the mystique surrounding the event, etc etc), and producing a narrative that discourages more mass shootings since columbine is the inspiration for a lot of them. but it’s super fucking risky imo, even if it was a completely nonviolent story :/
