9/11 and Mr. 9/11/81

In light of this being the entire week,19 years ago, that Hitmen for Hire was filmed by the boys, and seeing this animated gif of a mirthful Dylan yet again, I’m reminded of this…

Every time I’ve ever watched Hitmen for Hire and the camera abruptly pans down to the CHS entranceway floor grates, I’m immediately reminded of this. The patterned lines of those grates always call to mind the architectural design of the World Trade Center and of course, 9/11 which ironically, as you know, is Dylan’s birthday.  A skosh bit of a prophetic harbinger of an event to come nearly 2 ½ years later? Or just a silly coincidence?  I’ll let you decide.  lol   At any rate, I find it rather eerie.

So Dylan liked Dr. Pepper?? Was it his favorite drink?

“Every year on Dylan’s birthday, Tom Klebold goes up to the place where the two used to hike and takes a Dr. Pepper, because Dylan loved Dr. Pepper, and the stuffed Koala that was Dylan’s childhood favorite.”

When Byron moved into an apartment in 1998, Dylan inherited his bedroom. He repainted the room, two black facing walls and two white facing walls with red shutters on the windows. He stocked a miniature refrigerator that had been a 17th birthday gift from the family with candy bars and Dr Pepper.”

I still kind of find it funny, that Dylan had this sticker on his car because he loved DJ Spooky ;you can tell it’s obvious those buildings are the twin towers with bombs landing on them, (I mean considering the twin towers were hit on what would be Dylan’s 20th birthday. AFTER Eric had mentioned hijacking planes and running them into New York.)

All of it is so queer, how it all played out :/  How some of this information is so quizzical now. Also, DJ Spooky is a black male, so if the whole “racism” thing were that relevant I have a feeling they would have purposely not liked Dj Spooky just because of that; and it’s obvious they didn’t play on that.

..that i’ll be in my place wherever is after this life — that i’ll fucking not be at war w/ myself, the world, the universe – my mind, body, everywhere, everything at PEACE w/ me – my soul (existence).

Hope you are having an infinitely happy, peaceful birthday in ‘your place’, the Halcyons. You’ve had a powerful effect and influence on my own life. Obviously, many others feel that connection too. Yes, everything seemed separate for you in your short time here on the earth, but that was just an illusion, you know now that everything in the universe is truly connected. Your life served a purpose. (Perhaps that’s why you spared your journal if not your computer?) Though your mistake, your choice, was grave, your life struggles were not in vain. In touching lives negatively you have also touched many lives positively. There. The Everlasting Contrast at it’s finest. With much love and afterlife blessings to you, Dylan. Happy Birthday.
