And well my question or fact for E-C to amwser is: Dylan kept a list of locker combinations in his wallet of the person’s he considered his closest friends

Deep down a part of Eric and Dylan were purposely leaving clues about their plan in hopes to get caught and much needed help?

Not in the hopes of getting caught and help. They were leaving clues as ~foreshadowing~ for their doomsday plan.  Some of what they were doing was a subconscious cry out for help but not intentional. Dylan did not want to see a shrink at all period. His idea of help was a bullet to the head.
