why do you think some people are more interested on the killers than the victims themselves

I think people want to know the why/how killers end up in such a desperate place to have done what they did.  Not to disrespect victims or anything but victims are essentially on the passive receiving end of what the killer has done. No, they’re not just targets; they were people, human beings – but the killers turned them into targets.  It’s human nature to latch on with curiosity to try and work out why a person would become a killer and ruin their own life by taking the lives of others.

what happened to Dylan other trench coat (not the duster) did his parents keep it or did they throw it way ?

We honestly have no way of knowing that. right?  I can speculate that nearly 20 years on now, I would imagine that the Klebolds slowly jettisoned quite a bit of Dylan’s stuff over the years but held on to the pieces that meant the most to them in representing their son most personally.   For example, his bloody B ballcap was returned by Jeffco. I feel as though Sue would’ve preserved that. It is intrinsically linked to Dylan forevermore and has his life force embedded in the fabric.

when did eric and dylan decide to move NBK to tuesday? would it have been as late as sunday night? i was reading the basement tape transcripts and eric says there’s “7 and 1/3” days left and that he’ll be “one tired motherfucker come monday”, which leads me to believe that the decision to move it was very last minute.

Yes, I would say that they were sort of toggling between both of those dates for the reasons mentioned before in this post.  So, I’d say that yes, they last minute switched it to the 20th because Eric was banking on getting that ammunition from Mark Manes.  Oddly though, Eric was already 18 yrs old as of April 9th.. I’m not sure if he just didn’t want to risk standing out blatantly purchasing bullets at Kmart or whether there are age restrictions on purchasing ammunition at the time in Colorado and perhaps you had to be older than eighteen. 

I was wondering whether or not maybe Eric and Dylan started the whole plan as a fantasy, except the fantasy never ended. Do you think E&D, or at least one of them, never actually thought it would really be played out? And then got too scared to pull out towards the end?

I think NBK was a fantasy all the way up to the moment when it actually happened and then the reality set in pretty quick that it didn’t live up to their imagined expectations. I think the entire time they were working towards it they, at the same time, didn’t quite believe it was actually going to happen. It wasn’t a reality until.. it was. And no, neither got too scared or wanted to back out. That’s a myth. Both were in all the way and prepared to go over that cliff together.  If either had private second thoughts about it they were in too deep and knowing how one would let the other down in backing out was a kind of loyalty insurance so that neither chickened out and bailed.

You’re an amazing writer. I find myself taking notes of your writing style because writing is so important to me. How did you get so good at it, besides reading so much?

Surely, you can’t be serious?  lol   Uh, so what exactly is my “writing style” per say?  All I see is the utter disorderly chaos that has downloaded from my mind. Too many thoughts, very disorganized, not succinct enough and with shitty absent-minded punctuation.  That’s my perceived ‘writing style’. heh. I’m sorry to say but I couldn’t give you any words of advice since I’m generally satisfied with very little of what I write.  Even though I’m flummoxed at your compliment, I do thank you all the same. ❤

From what we know of Dylan, he does seem to have been heavily influenced by his Libra placements, particularly his need for an idealistic ‘perdect’ love. Although his Virgo sun does come across as well. His emotions were in direct conflict with his need to appear put together, and Virgos feel uncomfortable and even ashamed of their intense emotions that they end up suppressing and internalizing them. They’re so hard on themselves. I think Dylan would’ve benefited from a close earth sign friend.

Yes, I agree with all of that. Dylan could be very quite a perfectionist (as his mom said in AMA), very precise and neat with a knack for organizing things in a certain manner. Sue had discussed how she had found his bank statements filed neatly in his room after his death and that he had put away his old lego sets with the instructions neatly tucked inside. Dylan’s being at odds with feeling comfortable with his sexual feelings and his need to cleanse, abstain and attain ‘purity’ is also a Virgoan tendency. He also had a sort of earthy practicality about him.  And Dylan did have that one close earth sign friend, that was Zack, who was a Taurus. :-/ 

Do you know if some the green panels/windows outside in the front of the cafeteria and where the library used to be, are the same as 1999 (except of course for the ones that were damaged & had blood on them)? Same with the windows throughout the school? (I’m sorry for a dumb question, I just don’t know how often window glass gets changed out)

Not a dumb question at all, tbh.  When the school was repaired and renovated, they changed all the green glass windows. The original windows had more of a tint to them but they selected a bit brighter tint to bring more light into the cafeteria and open it up more.
