I don’t understand why everyone thought it was weird that they suddenly wore all black. They seem to make a massive deal about it. Was it weird for people to wear all black on the 90s?

Because Littleton CO was/is a very conservative community. Wearing all black may have been the standard edgy teenage thing in the 90s but it was automatically viewed as weird, scary and unwholesome to the mainstream, conservative Christians there.

In terms of continuing this blog, do what is best for you! Sometimes things change, that’s just a fact of life.. you’ve done a ton for this community and we are so appreciative, but people need to remember that you don’t owe us anything and have your own life.

I really appreciate your neutrality in understanding that this is ultimately my decision to make. Thank you for sharing your gratitude, openness, and positivity. 🙂

Why did Eric tolerate Robyn but not Devon?

I think you meant to say that Devon couldn’t tolerate Eric. lol  (She ended up reporting him to the office at one point because he threatened her life).  Let’s not forget that Devon was Zack’s girlfriend and Eric was resentful of Devon for being like the ‘Yoko Ono” (her words) that stole Zack away from their little Three Musketeers broship. So, he saw her as a threat. Robyn was no perceived threat to any of their relationships as she was simply Dylan’s close friend and Eric’s too by association to his best friend.  Had Robyn taking up with Dylan in a relationship you can bet it would’ve rubbed Eric the wrong way.

What did Dylan give Eric for his birthday? Did it ever mention it in any post?

I would suspect that Dyl gave Eric a birthday stogie which he smoked in his car as they were on an NBK shopping trip per the Basement Tapes transcripts:

They pass the intersection at Sante Fe and Mineral and the filming stops. It’s still light out when the camera comes back on. The car is now on Broadway, north of Hampden. Eric’s still driving. They’re stopped at a red light or stop sign on the east side of Broadway. Eric’s smoking a large cigar now which he says is his “birthday cigar” [Eric’s birthday was on the 9th]. He and Dylan say they have just purchased two large fuel containers and three propane bottles. Dylan says he now has his pants. The camera is turned off once more.

You’re basically the last of the good TCC, back when it was actually kind of cool here. When you leave an era has ended

Ah, yes, I remember back in the day.  Good times! …even though it wasn’t all that long ago. Haha   Still, even though the Imagines blogs have overrun the tag these days, there are a few cool quality blogs that are doing a fine job of it with their research posts. And that’s a really good thing to see. 🙂 I’m flattered that you associate E-C with a kind of nostalgia for the sort of ‘golden age of Columbine of the TCC’ lol but as with everything on Tumblr, there will always be new eras to be made after I’ve completed my mission here so to speak. 😉

I think your site is lovely. A great resource and a place we can mourn and remember a lost soul so to speak that made a VERY bad decision and learn from his mistakes. I will be around if you change the way you manage the blog but I hope you don’t leave. I’m in SoCal and would love to meet someone who I can talk about Columbine like this with someone, who mourns all 15 and looks at it critically. So your blog is a great place for ,me.

I like your perspective as to how you see E-C.  That is most definitely part of my intent in creating this blog. 🙂   Thanks for the kind words. ❤  Well hopefully in posting this someone down in SoCal can meet up with you for some quality Columbine connections. Btw, are you getting as much rain as we are here this November up in NorCal?

why are some people asking if you’re leaving? am i missing something? :( you’re the reason why i’m still here and interested <3

I’m not really sure why people think this, tbh.  Perhaps they just picked up on some of my recent..unrest. lol  I’ve not officially stated I’m leaving. Should I ever decide to do so in the future, I would let you all know but of course..

I’m flattered that E-C is the reason you’re remaining ‘here’. Thank you ❤

As appreciated your blog is, sometimes you just have to move on, you know? I’m not encouraging you to leave or anything, because your blog is truly amazing, as are you, but if you have to leave for whatever reason that may be, please don’t feel pressured to stay. That’s all that I wanted to say! I hope this doesn’t sound like a, “yeah, you should leave,” type of message. I’m just bad at conveying my thoughts. I hope you’re well. :)

Thanks.  And no worries, I understand that your intent was well meant.

Do you think Eric and Dylan used pick up lines while trying to get a girl?

You got to be kidding me, right?   These two weren’t smooth enough for such things.  Though, of the two, I’m sure Rebby took a stab at it on a few occasions all the while failing miserably at it. We do know that he complimented girls and such.  And he paid extra special attention to female customers that walked into Blackjack pizza. So, he was working what little magic he had.,though I doubt any of it was ‘smooth’.   Dylan, on the other hand, probably wouldn’t have gotten past ‘uhh…soo.. “  *nervously combs hand through his hair yet again* lol

Do you think dylan or eric, would’ve liked anime? The most popular ones like one punch man, and shingeki no kyojin?

No, the actual Eric and Dylan from the late nineties weren’t into anime. There is no mention of this from them anywhere.  If they were hypothetically living today, would they like it?   That’s up for anyone to have a guess at. Anime is a pretty big thing now but the hypothetical  2017 version of Eric and Dylan would be vastly different from the Eric and Dylan of what we know from eighteen years ago,  simply because of current advancement of technology, entirely different trends coverying a variety of vastly different pop cultural influences of today versus the nineties.  Mind you, I’m not saying anime was exactly obscure in the late nineties – just that it’s not as popular on a mainstream level in the US as it appears to be currently.
