Yes, the Ever-lasting contrast. Since existence has known, the 'fight' between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good. My fav. contrasting symbol, because it is so true & means so much – the battle between good & bad never ends… Here we ponder on the tragedy of Dylan Klebold.
‘“He’s a very bright kid, and it’s a very nice family,” said one neighbor who asked not to be named.
”He (didn’t) behave very well in class. He was very disrespectful to the teacher, and he would never listen to anybody.” Sometimes “lost his temper”’ Laura Stewart, 18
Dylan is interrogated by his guidance counselor. This is the first scene where we really see Dylan, called “Loner,” as a character, and is one of the first scenes in the play.

Cool find! Definitely can see the resemblance in the eyes, nose and ears. Though, I think Dylan favors his mom’s looks more particularly her strong chin.
Personally I think he looks more like his dad in these particular photos, especially the second one. You’re right about his mum’s chin though, and he also has her hair.
The more I look at it, I can see the line of the eye shape and eyebrows too. I do see a lot of Bryon’s features as well. Time for a side-by-side photo of mother-dylan-father for comparison. Thanks for posting this! Would love to see a more current, closeup photo of Tom other than that one floating around where he has the beard.

Randy and Judy Brown watch the Rampart Range video at the Jeffco Sheriff’s Office in 2003
That must be a very odd, horrific feeling to be watching that video and comprehending a different side of Dylan since he had been over to their house on many, many occasions from sweet little boy to shy, (seemingly) gentle teenager.
“I think Dylan on one occasion did say: "Wouldn’t it be kind of fun to sit on the soccer field and shoot at the school? Like shooting at the windows would be kind of fun”, and you know, everyone on the table kind of laugh a little cause we thought he was all joking.”Chris Morris
Dylan had on his coat and those glasses and as Sue looked around the restaurant she thought people were uncomfortable and afraid of him. Then she said,’Dylan, people are afraid of you with that on. You need to take it off.’ And he just smiled at her. I think when he got this coat, it was the first time he ever felt power in his life.
Judy Brown, mother of Brooks Brown, recalling an incident that happened 4 months before the massacre when Dylan was dinning at a restaurant with his mother Sue. (via trenchcoatmafia-judgementday)
“Dylan Klebold, along with his friend Eric Harris, shot and killed 13 people and injured 23 others in April, 1999 in Columbine High School, before they turned their guns on themselves. My family moved into the same Colorado neighborhood as the Klebold family in July 1998, seven months before…
God damn imagine Dylan’s yelling during the massacre I would be shitting myself because if he can play yell real fucking good imagine the power in his real yells
It’s a really scary thought. The audio of him yelling in the hallways…
Yes. Dylan would have scared me much more that day than Eric. Eric fired his guns more, but Dylan was so huge and his mannerisms and body language that day were horrifying. Just looking at the surveillance footage scares me. Dylan looked like a thug. It makes me feel like throwing up.
I found Dylan’s deameanor on the cam really interesting. You can pick out a lot of differences in his movements that day compared to vids of him before then. He seemed a lot more powerful and brooding.
He was extremely confident that day. I think when he entered the school that day Dylan was long gone and VoDKa had completely taken over. Dylan was meek and clumsy and shy and awkward, but VoDKa was strong, powerful, intimidating and confident.
YES EXACTLY. I believe that the VoDKa and Reb personas were a part of them yet seperate in a sense, born of the toxic emotions and enviroments. Wonderfully put.
“…when Eric and Dylan got together, Eric changed Dylan’s demeanour…”
“You’re impossibly awkward, and tall. Your skin is pale white and cold. Your eyes are unseeing, dead, and sometimes you speak like–like you’re from a different time. You drink Dr Pepper and eat donuts more than you should. You don’t hang out with the cool kids… How old are you?”
“Seventeen.”
“How long have you been seventeen?”
“A while.”
“I know what you are.”
“Say it. Out loud. Say it!”
“Dylan Klebold.”
“Are you afraid?”
“No.”
Reading Dylan’s diary, the scrambled shards of the world fall back into place. Sometimes I can almost see his hand writing the letters of the words on its pages, doodling and sketching the glyphs in the margins, following the silent flow of thought to word to inscription. Hearing his voice in the…
I believe he did recognize his ideal beloved within himself, and in the end, he was “his own hero” and he knew it.
Instantly reminded me of: “I will have a love, someone who is me in a way.”
