does Brooks have Twitter? if so, do you know his handle?

Yes, the Ever-lasting contrast. Since existence has known, the 'fight' between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good. My fav. contrasting symbol, because it is so true & means so much – the battle between good & bad never ends… Here we ponder on the tragedy of Dylan Klebold.

“Towns seldom mentioned before the school violence that sadly put them on the map and in front of all of our collective consciousness.
How do we move forward after tragedy strikes again? How do we advance forward not simply yelling, crying, praying and mourning about all that is wrong and all that’s been lost, but actually take steps forward to ensure our schools become safer, our communities become more life-giving and our world becomes better?
Sue Klebold is the mother of one of the Columbine High School shooters. She spent decades grieving the lives her son took (including his own), the families he harmed, the hurt he inflicted and the imitators he helped spawn. During these decades, she’s also begun moving from a the place of a mother who’s life was forever turned upside, to a voice of reason, compassion, and love reminding the rest of us what we can do to make a difference where we are.
My friends, Sue shared her heart, smile, joy and wisdom with me yesterday over coffee.
But she shared her story with me and her suggestions on moving forward more compassionately with all of us on our Live Inspired Podcast earlier this year. Do me, your families, your communities and yourself a huge favor, listen to it.
Although we can’t change all that’s happened in our lives and communities, we always possess the ability to influence what happens next.
This is your day. Live Inspired. J”
This guy did such a respectful and compassionate interview podcast with her. He truly admirers our Miss Sue. 🙌🏻💖

A couple of Klebold styles to distract from the fact that I need to draw some actual art.

Mag from Dylans Tec-9 with live rounds still in it.
TEC(-9)hnical Difficulties?
In regards to how many shots fired by Dylan:
9MM INTRA-TEC SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL MODEL TEC-DC9 [CBI 23/JCSO 903] 9MM MAGAZINES: 4
Library West:
CBI 34/JCSO 1093 [Magazine with 3 Rounds],Main Hallway:
CBI 30/JCSO 1859 [Broken Magazine and Frame/Spring],Outside:
CBI 213/JCSO 2358 [50 Round Magazine with 40 Rounds],BMW (Klebold):
CBI 991/JCSO 6004 [{36 Round} Magazine with 34 Rounds] – Found Between Driver’s Seat/Floor BoardAs you can see Dylan was misplacing/dropping/having trouble with the magazines that day. In the basement tapes, Dylan states that he has a “50 round clip, two 36’s & a 24”
Well, 1 of the 36 round magazines was found in his BMW & the 50 round magazine was found on the grass outside on the hill where E&D had been.
34 rounds were found in the 36 round mag & 40 rounds were found in the 50 round mag = 74 live [not fired] rounds.
Dylan had shortchanged himself of over half of his 9mm ammo that day.
Also, Dylan fired 19 rounds from one spot in the Main Hallway, where a BROKEN magazine was found. There were no remaining rounds found in that magazine.
Therefore, sometime into the shooting, Dylan was down to only 1 working magazine.
A tech 9 is a really poorly designed gun. It jams up constantly. You can use 9mm bullets but they have to be full metal jacket, which are more expensive. So I don’t think that he purposely sabatoged himself, the gun probably jammed so not knowing a lot about guns or the fact that they were on a time limit (he really couldn’t take the gun apart and fix the problem), it is easier to just go to the next magazine. 🙂
It was a shit gun of which he over paid for, used, from Mark Manes at the price tag of $500. The 34 mag found on the driver’s seat floor of his Beamer makes me lol. Oh, Dylan..

Action not reaction after the fact.

May 9, 2018 Sue Klebold speaking at the Great Lakes Homeland Security Conference.
I’ve seen Sue speak so many times, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen her speak live about her own struggles with suicidal thoughts after the Columbine tragedy. It was honestly one of the most emotional things I’ve ever seen. She’s so strong and so courageous.
Go Sue! 🌟 We ❤️ you!

Dylan As A Friend
“I was taking a walk not long before he died, and I’d asked him, ‘Come and pick me up if it rains.’ And he did. He was there for you, and he was the best listener I ever met.” – Far From the Tree
“We were T-boned while crossing an intersection, and Dylan stopped his car and ran up to my window and was just like, ‘Are you OK? Are you OK?’ and he was freaking out, and I just told him to go get my parents and tell them to come up here and get me.” – Columbine: A True Crime Story
“When [Devon’s] feelings were hurt or when she had conflicts with others, it was Dylan she turned to for support. ‘I would call Dylan on the phone or talk to him on the computer. It was the best therapy I could hope for.’” – A Mother’s Reckoning
“Mid-February, Dylan came downstairs dressed to go to work,
though he wasn’t scheduled. Eric’s dog Sparky was seriously ill, so
Dylan had picked up Eric’s shift at Blackjack. […] As he left the
house, I gave Dylan a hug and told him how proud I was that he was such a
responsible employee and a good friend.” – A Mother’s Reckoning
A true blue friend. 💙
