Speakers include Governor John Hickenlooper (invited) and Sue Klebold is the mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the two Columbine shooters. She has spent the last 17 years examining every detail of her family life, trying to understand the crucial intersection between mental health issues and violence. She has become a passionate agent working to advance mental health awareness and intervention. She is the author of A Mother’s Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy.

(All author proceeds from A Mother’s Reckoning are being donated to organizations that support mental health and suicide prevention.)

The 11th annual State of the State Luncheon co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Southeast Denver and District 5450 will be held December 7 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center (noon to 1:30 pm).  In addition to keynote speaker Susan Klebold, Governor John Hickenlooper will address the State’s efforts in the areas of mental health and wellness.  The luncheon will be preceded by a Mental Well-Being Symposium presented by the Rotary Mental Health Initiative (9 am-11:20 am; no charge to attend) and a Mental Health & Wellness Expo (11:00-11:55 am; no charge to attend).

I think I fell in love with this gif

I love how the wind is whipping around his full-length black leather coat and how cautious and respectful he always is while trying out the shotguns knowing all too well how much kick back there’s gonna be.  You can see the way his feet are wide apart as he’s contemplating the shot. Such a contrast compared to how trigger happy quick Eric is. Two vastly different boys; complimenting opposites.
