what about people who are poor and have little to no health care and resources for a therapist?
The resources I provided are free help and confidential. 😊 I know many people (myself included) cannot afford traditional, professional therapists. Or some don’t want to have to go through their parents to get one.
What do you think Eric’s “patented way of killing spiders” was?
Well, if it’s anything like my brothers, it’d be to take a magnifying glass, directing it on the critter and using sunlight through the lens to fry them and possibly pulling off the legs. Or flicking his zippo and them systematically lighting their legs and body afire . A bored and curious teenage boy’s manner of torture and certain death to bugs. I guess Rebby didn’t include spiders, lady bugs and bees in with his ‘protect the animals at the expense of humanity!’ iron fist tenant.. And no, bugs aren’t technically ‘animals’..but hey, they’re of nature and not human filth. lol
your opinion on multiple shooters? (if you’ve done posts before can you link some below?)
Please use the E-C Search and type in “multiple shooter” or “third shooter” or “conspiracy”. This has been addressed a few times.🙂
Cassie died immediately right?
Shotgun pointed pretty close to her face, a massive *bullet slamming into her face (right side of her head to be exact), shattering it, and ripping apart her brain – unquestionably.
Adding this extra info here: Preliminary autopsy report on Cassie indicated a defensive wound to the right middle finger, a gunshot wound to the right side on her head, with the trajectory from right-to-left and slight front-to-back. *Shotgun bullet containing pellets shot at close range.
Do you perhaps have any advice for someone who’s feeling majorly depressed, and who can’t talk to their family or seek help from external sources due to both of those failing in the past? Sorry for asking, it’s just you always give good answers.
Well, I would strongly encourage you to not try to shoulder and manage your depression all on your own. Isolation is the worst thing because you will tend to listen to your negative voice rather than anything positive about yourself. If you can’t talk to family or if you don’t have a close friend you trust, I would encourage you to keep seeking ‘external’ help. You know the thing is you sort of have to shop around a bit to find the right counselor or therapist who really makes you feel comfortable and safe and can help be a good sounding board for you to just express yourself honestly and freely. There really is no way to deal with the depression by yourself. You need to purge and release the thoughts and feelings and unburden yourself. I know this is kind of, well, gross but it’s a bit like popping a festering, pimple. You have to release and let go off the toxic crap inside yourself in order to begin to heal yourself. ☺️
As a starting point, I would recommend that you check out Sue Klebold’s website resource section and give one of those numbers a call. Explain to them your situation and ask for a few resources that they can offer you for your individual situation. You can also try a chat room forum that is geared toward depression and commiserate with others that feel exactly like yourself. This website also has other resources as well. I don’t know your age but if you’re a teen, you can also text/call/email other teens that are there to help you, check out teenlineonline.
Lastly, in posting this, there are many, many other people reading this message of yours and so many of us have been -or are – in the same place as you are right now. Many of us want to help you too. So E-C followers: any of you here can feel free to comment and add any ideas, resources or words of encouragement to this lovely person. 💖 You do realize that you’re in the perfect community that completely empathizes with you, right? We are all here because we have struggled or are struggling with dark thoughts. Please do take advantage of us. 😊 You’re not alone and you can survive this until you begin to start seeing that sun peaking through the parting somber, rain clouds 🌤 or that light shining at the end of a dark, murky tunnel.. but don’t delude yourself into thinking that you can deal with it all on your own (just because the help you sought wasn’t an option). Because you just can’t kick the depression all on your own single handledly. Dylan himself was pretty self reliant and look where that got him as intelligent as he was? He was silently sinking in quick sand and kept it all to himself. He was miserable and dying on the inside. “Nobody will help me” he wrote in his secret agony …but he never reached out to anybody. You have to share your pain with someone else first so they can help you. Reach out and allow others to help guide you. ❤️ So, my advice to you is: even though you may want to withdraw and give up on finding some of that ‘external’ help, keep on trying. Call one number or chat with someone online. Reach out to a friend you feel you can trust. Just keep putting yourself out there until you find what is beginning to work best for you in helping you to manage your feelings and helping you to begin to feel better. We love and support you here. You can do this. ❤️👏🏻
Wait, so pictures of Dylan’s body during the autopsy were taken? What are the chances of those being released do you think?
Well, there would’ve been multiple, detailed photos taken of all who died at the crime scene as well as perhaps some taken during the autopsy for recording purposes. No, none of those photos will ever be released and there is really no good reason for them to be. For one thing, Jeffco considers Columbine to be a closed case. More importantly, graphic, morbid photos of the victims and perps will only greatly upset those who were directly and indirectly effected by the massacre 18 years after the fact. It would be like ripping off a band-aid and pouring salt into wounds.
Hi, Idk where else to look. Do you have the link for the Dylan x Reader imagine where they watch liquid television together and cuddle, The only thing I remembered about the post was that you liked it. I can’t find it anywhere and have been looking forward to reading it all day.
Nice little fluffy piece can be found here by@columbine-images-vod 🙂
Hey! thanks for following me! I love you’re blog<3
You’re welcome..and TY ❤
Do you think Robert Craig and Dylan were friends ? Or hung out together? How do you think his dead affected Dylan?
I don’t believe Robert Craig and Dylan were friends – maybe, and I say this lightly, just acquaintances. I do think that Robert killing his father and committing suicide must have made a big impact on Dylan and Eric and of course, the rest of their school as well. Perverse things like that just didn’t happen at Columbine normally. The incident may have even given the boys a sort of unspoken permission that if some unstable dude in their school could out-of-the-blue just kill his dad and off himself, it wasn’t impossible or improbable for them to do too but on a much grandeur scale. I’m sure Dylan ruminated on Robert’s suicide and probably pondered why he couldn’t just work up the nerve to kill himself, and put him out of his own misery.
What Robert had done was almost like a mini, precursor earthquake indicating that there was trouble brewing just below the shiny, pristine, veneer of their “perfect” school with it’s happy,, well adjusted, law abiding, christian loving students and that the big quake was just on the horizon of that epicenter. It would be a rude awakening, shaking the community of Littletons’ self-perceived, wholesome, righteous foundation and altering the world’s perception of it, forever linked with the tragedy..
Do you think Eric and Kevin looked more alike or Dylan and Byron did?
Neither really but marginally, imo, Eric and Kevin.
This isn’t a dylan specific question, but id like to hear what you say. Many mass murders like Eric, Dylan, Adam etc. Killed themselves after their attack what do you think makes them end up killing themselves? Thanks for answering!!
They kill themselves because they hate themselves and feel their life is as meaningless and forfeit, if not more, than their soon-to-be collateral damage victims. It is a no brainer for them that part of this ritual of destroying others closes and completes the circle by way of destroying themselves. They are on auto self destruct course, almost like Japanese
Kamikaze in that they themselves become the weapon that destroys and is destroyed as the very Source of destruction on the mission. A Kamikaze believes it is an honor and privilege to serve and die in the name of their country. Mass murderers believe it is an honor to kill and die because they feel worthless and are unimportant -a nothing a nobody they may as well be an inanimate weapon made of cold, unfeeling metal- and so they have nothing to lose when they dump their pain on the others and the world, as they turn the gun on themselves in the end.
“
You all need to die! We need to die, too! ” – Eric Harris
“We don’t give a shit because we’re going to die doing it.” – Dylan Klebold
If you were offered to see the photos of dylans face/body taken during the autopsy, would you refuse?
Hmm…that’s a difficult question to answer. I think as much as I would not want to see Dylan that way, it is the reality of what became of Dylan. In seeing these graphic, bleak, very real photos of Dylan, I know it would irreparable alter my thoughts, feelings and reflections after gazing upon them. I would probably want to see some of those photos – just to give me that sinking feeling, pit-in-my-stomach taste of what Dylan had done to himself.so that it really registered internally to my very core how brutal it all was. Because in the photo of him lying prone in the library, from a distance, he almost looks sprawled out and peaceful, as if he fell into a slumbering reprieve. That..versus seeming him laying out on the morgue table as a very lifeless, pale, blood smeared corpse with a black, singed bullet hole through his temple. Hmm..then again, maybe not. But, curiosity is a nagging, pesky thing. It also killed the cat. Oh, the ambivalence of it all..
What do you think Sue would think of 13 Reasons Why?
She wouldn’t approve of it. Sue has mentioned in her extensive studies of suicide research that media such as this show, which goes into gratuitous detail regarding suicide, glamorizing it, and even going so far as to show someone commit suicide from start to finish greatly increases the chance of triggering those that are vulnerable and depressed. causing more suicide rather than preventing it. I’m pretty sure she knows about the show and considers it a terrible, irresponsible decision on Netflix’s part.
So whos injuries were worse? Cassie or Eric?
I’d say it’s a toss up. Both had massive skull fractures. Eric shot Cassie directly in the face with his shot gun and Eric used his shot gun inside his mouth and aiming upward inside his head. Skull explosion at close range. Cassie’s autopsy report appears to be all of one page, oddly.
What if Eric never left Platsburg or Michigan?
….than 15 wouldn’t be dead. No such thing as Columbine.
Funny how one event not happening can change everything, huh.
Were there cheerleaders in Columbine?
Where there are sports jocks..rest assured, there are cheerleaders (unfortunately). Yeeup.
What’s the name of that video of Eric running around in a parking lot or something? I always see pictures and gifs of it but I can never find the actual video.
Search “Columbine Highway Patrol” on youtube.
Did Eric and Dylan sleep the night before 4/20?like for me I wouldn’t be able too knowing what I was gonna do hours later.
I know, right? Please use the E-C Search and type “sleep” as this has been answered a few times. 🙂
