Miss E-C where did you go :( are you feeling okay…

I’ve been dealing with some personal issues going on in my life right now and tbh, I just haven’t had much energy and momentum to devote to E-C as of late.

Someone asked me if I was dead. Sometimes I wish I was – except for the fact that, in a way, I sometimes feel like I already am. lol It’s only been half a year but a hard one at that to cope with emotionally in coming to terms with significant, impactful external things in relation to the internal struggle of all of it. 😔 Metaphorically it’s probably is more like the Phoenix is dying and stuck in the stasis of waiting to rise up from the ashes. Just.. it’s not a very pleasant time to wade through to the ‘other side’.

So, that said: I’m sorry I’ve not been on much.. I’ve just decided to step back and take a break from everything and focus on me and to try to be present in the moment of the here and now. I may blog now and again, idk. As always, I await and am guided by..inspiration.

Sue Klebold talked about her life after Columbine and how it’s led her to become a passionate mental health advocate at this year’s Breakfast of Champions event on April 29, 2017.  The event hosted by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Middlesex was attended by more than 1,200 local community leaders and mental health advocates.

Are there any pictures of the interior of the Klebold’s house? I’ve seen lots of exterior pics but none of the interior. Always been curious as to what it looked like.

No, there are no interior shots of the enigmatic Klebold household.  Though here are a few glimpses inside it per the new photos that Sue released along with her book:

I thought they didn’t like Marilyn Manson? Why did Dylan have a poster of him?

They both publicly acted like they didn’t like Manson referring to him as ‘that faggot’.  However, Dylan was a closet fan of sorts of Manson and hed did have a MM poster hanging up on his bedroom wall.  When his mom asked him about the poster (as I’m sure it was probably some shocking imagery), he gave her a deflective excuse that  teenagers are apt to do so easily just to stop the potential third degree from mom:  ‘I don’t listen to the lyrics; I just like the beats’.  

I don’t remember anyone saying that their was a camera outside the library?! Your like the first person that has mentioned this.

There were supposedly six cameras total within the school. How I understand it, on the inside of the building there were: four in the cafeteria, one situated in the administration area and outside the library in the hallway.   The last two were not on continually.  I would need to see if I can locate the exact portion of the 11K that states this. I came across it once and I’m hoping I took a screenshot of it.  I take screenshots of a lot of stuff in the 11K so will have to poke around a bit to find it. 

Additionally, on 4/20, there were also four surveillance cameras on the outside/exterior of the building. The Jefferson County sheriff’s office collected seven tapes [2468 and 2469] from these cameras on April 21, 1999. These seven tapes are daily surveillance tapes of after hour activities in the days prior to April 20,1999. The cameras are timed to record every day between 3:00 PM and 5:00 AM the next day. They show the exterior of the library, the exterior of the south entrance and patio, and the exterior of the east entrance. These four views are recorded on a quad recorder that shows the quad (four) images and then cycles through each image, returning to the quad and continuing through the cycle. The videotapes were removed by a law enforcement officer who indicated that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold are not shown on these video tapes.

I have posts that supply information on some of the clothing and t-shirts Dylan wore but definitely not links on where to buy. For example, if you want to find some of the t-shirts Dylan wore you can use the E-C Search and type in ‘t-shirt’ to learn about items he wore.

But to be clear, I’m not here to be a go-between Dylan merch site. That is not what this blog is about.  If you’re interested in purchasing something that Dylan wore, you’ll need to do that research on your own starting with a simple Google search.
