Do you think if Dylan had wanted to back out of the massacre at the last minute he would have been afraid to tell Eric?

If either wanted to back out, they’d both be afraid since they had put so much time, effort, money and commitment into it and they would not want to let one another down. However, if you’re implying that Dylan would be afraid that Eric would threaten or harm him than no. It wasn’t like that between the two of them.  They did this because it was something they both wanted to do and if they backed out, there’d still be mutual respect but it would sting like hell for the one left still wanting to do it.

What song was playing in the background of the morning routine video ?

Songs heard in The Morning Ritual with Dylan and Nate

The Centurians – Bullwinkle pt. 2 – 1963 classic used in the Pulp Fiction Sndtrk

Flowers on the Wall – The Statler Brothers – 1966  classic used in the Pulp Fiction Sndtrk

Surf Rider – The Lively Ones

– 1963 classic used in the Pulp Fiction Sndtrk

“Thar she blows Columbine High School………………”

Kind of an odd question but, do you know what Eric and Dyl’s final meal was before the massacre? Also you are quite hot, ms everlasting! ❤

“What did you have for dinner ?”

He looked up from his shoes, tilting his head to one side so he could give me a “Come on, Mom” look; they’d gone to a (Outback) steakhouse.

“Uh, steak?”
he said.

We both laughed.

Sadly, the very last attempted conversation Sue had with her son on the evening of April 19th.. 😦

 😉  ❤

Do you know what the covers of Eric and Dylan’s journals looked like?

The two wrote in ordinary,  primary-colored, spiral notebooks that are used for school not actual journals or diaries (as some might assume)..  Eric’s writings were methodically written in sequential order in a notebook of his choice.  Dylan’s writings were fragmented as Sue revealed in her book:

“These writings are always referred to as “journals,” but really these were scattered pages, compiled by the investigators after the fact. Most of them were taken from Dylan’s school notebooks, although some of the bits and pieces of paper he wrote on were old advertising flyers or other scraps, which he then tucked into various binders and books. The stack of photocopied pages was about half an inch thick. Some entries were a sentence long, while
others went on for pages.”

I’m a student of Medicine & I read your blog daily, in the past year it has helped me to disconnect from all the hundreds of pages I have to study every day, and I’m not going to lie, sometimes I’ve been late studying because of this, it’s your fault. Nah, just kiding on that last thing, keep E-C as always!!!!!

Very cool! Glad to be that somewhat healthy (obsessive? lol),  distractive outlet and also, that you won’t hold it against me.  but hey, technically, VoDkA is the best kind of medicine for a student of medicine, no?  😉  Thankss ❤

do u prefer long hair or short hair Dylan?

I appreciate him with both long and short hair but I think he felts more personally comfortable in his own skin sporting long hair.  That look represented himself more – like, who he was on the inside, so I prefer him with the longer hair because it feels him. I just tend to vibe him as this kind of born too late, genius, nineties cyber hippy.  There’s a sort of romanticism about his look but I’m sure he felt it was sort of anti-authority Mickey Knox persona he was trying to establish which he liked along with his nick VoDkA. Like, he secretly got a kick out of it – those long, untamed locks, the trench, the shades, the combat boots and the whole nine yards. It was who he’d become and also becoming. Also, his strong facial features are more balanced out with the longer locks too. I think he felt that too: that it minimized aspects to his face that he felt were too freakishly large.

Do you think E and D ran in the corridors or do you think they walked calmly around the school?

You mean during the massacre?  If so, yes, Dylan did.  He ran down the north hallway east through the lobby, chasing after fleeing classmates but then came to an abrupt halt near a bank of phones at the entrance to the main lobby area.

He was last seen running back down the north hall to the west in the direction of the library hallway.  Dylan was having a death day party in da house.

Hi, E-C! So, I was reading the autopsy report once again (lol) and I paid more attention this time on Dylan’s and came across the passage where it mentions Dylan’s feet, “remarkable and grossly” and I’m having a hard time understanding what that meant. Maybe unkept?

p.s. In the medical world, the term “gross” is used to describe the opposite of “microscopic” and “ Unremarkable" is used to describe nothing of any significance or that it visually looks normal to the naked eye via a cursory examination.   “Grossly unremarkable” means there are no pertinent findings based on the visual examination that was performed during his autopsy.

how do you think Dylan was ordering food? I know he was shy so would he be alright doing things like getting fast food and stuff?

Mm..I think he did reasonably well with stuff like that. Practice would’ve made perfect of course and by the time he was in high school going out to fast food restaurants on the regular, it was an ordinary thing to be telling the cashier what he wanted for purchase for lunch. Same way he would’ve done in the cafeteria line in The Commons.  Just think of how Dylan was in the RNN interview. Though he was self conscious around the edges, he did a very good job with maintaining strong eye contact while talking to someone on camera and doing his little bit in the interview.  He wasn’t completely clueless in public social situations especially with strangers where he was ordering food and not expected to make/hold a conversation.
