do u think Dylan was actually a Rammstein/kmfdm fan or just said he liked them because of Eric? Like u said in ur music post, he didn’t choose any of their songs for his personal website

No, I think Dylan really did like Rammstein and KMFDM but his friend Eric turned him on to their style of sound.  When he worked shifts with Eric at Blackjack, you can bet Rammstein would be playing full blast ad nauseam . When the two were on the road together in one another’s cars, you can bet a few KMFDM or Rammstein numbers were cranked up in full force on the way to their destination.  Did Dylan like any of their songs well enough to select them for his website? No. What this amounts to is that nothing struck a chord for him to want to use any of their songs for his website theme sections. So, while he liked and appreciated these two bands brand of music and aesthetic well enough, I do not believe that if he were alone in his room playing music, that they would’ve been his personal preference choices to listen too most often. They were likes,and he certainly dug them as cool because his friend thought they were the best bands ever but Dylan also had his own flavor of top musical choices. Eric wasn’t into some of those like for example, The Chemical Brothers or The Smashing Pumpkins.

What did “koolios” mean? Just noticed that Dylan put Sweet Dreams by MM under “koolios” for his website, and Robyn mentioned that word in her yearbook message(maybe? some note to Dylan, pretty sure it was the yearbook), and was wondering if they were related/if it’s just some random thing and has no “meaning”.

“Koolios” appeared to be a reference to their friends who were the cool peeps – why? cause they were their mutuals. 🙂  The term might have been started as part of the TCM. The outcasts or “no sports” as the jocks often referred to the TCMers, the smart, cerebral kids or computer geeks – any that weren’t considered the ‘in’ crowd and affiliated with sports teams at Columbine. Plot twist: they were in fact, the actual cool ones, the koolios of the school, not the jocks or preps. 😉  That is my interpretation based on seeing how the term was used.

What was dylans AOL website URL?

He didn’t respect like AoL enough to have one of those.  Dylan would’ve had transient, bogus user accounts to get on to the service community for free. He probably had a username flavor (or two or three) for a month, if that. AoL was not some place he’d park a website url. lolz.  Dylan’s website, if he ever actually completed the one he was drafting in his notebook to go live, would’ve probably been on one of those free nineties url communities like 

Geocities, Angelfire, Tripod, Bravenet, FreeServers, etc.

I just listened to all the videos of music you posted on #DBK: Loan and Borrow List. Dylan had an AWESOME music taste! Do we have a list of bands he liked or used to listen? I might or might not download everything (I will download everything).

Certainly!  Well, in general, Dyl’s personal favs would be the Chemical Brothers, NIN  and The Smashing Pumpkins but his favs with Eric would be KMFDM and Rammstein. 

At the same time, his personal tastes were diverse, trippy and cerebral too.

Eric needs to give Dyl back his Phantom Planet cd

After listening to the group Phantom Planet, an indies band. I somehow think Eric would find this band rather “gay” – unless, of course, Dyl was loaning it to another Eric like say, Eric Jackson or Eric Veik?    Otherwise for Eric H., I’d say Dyl loaned him this instead..

Sue is receiving a major award for her efforts in public education at the Announcing the 2016 AFSP Lifesavers Gala Honorees on May 3rd at Lincoln Center in NYC. 👏🏻😊. I think this is going to be an amazing year for Sue in being able to share her message and being the first to really come forward about what has been a very taboo subject. She is going to really begin to create a safe environment for people to start openly discussing the topic of murder-suicide, a reoccurring motif in our society these days, and within the context of the parents perspective experiencing such a double edged loss.
