Marla was a sophomore in ‘99.

Dylan wrote in his unsent love letter: “I was in a class with you first semester, & was blessed with being with you in a report… This semester I rarely see you.”

I discuss the possibility of Marla in this post and considered that it didn’t seem likely that they had mixed classes between sophomores and seniors other than for P.E. class..and yes, as you mentioned possibly theatre class. However, someone else replied in a follow up response to my post and confirmed that they infact did have mixed classes in their particular high school. So, it seems to all depend on the high school and also probably how large the school is. Columbine accomodates approximately 2,000 students. So, given that, it would’ve been a possibility that Dylan and Marla were in the same class together during first semester.

Is that a hint?  😉   Hmm, weeeell, I’m working on compiling it but I’m not yet at the point of posting it, tbh. ‘Real’ life gets in the way, you know?   I can’t wait for me to add it too.  I’ll give all of you a heads-up when I’m about to add it to E-C.  In the meantime, feel free to just add your ‘good question’, ok?  I like ‘good’ (aka new)  questions. 🙂   Don’t let my lack of progress (haha) hold you back.

The depositions are slated to be released in 2027.

I think he would feel conflicted – you know, sort of half flattered but kind of an embarassed head scratch.. with the latter winning out a bit more over the two. Because, Hello? “Let’s sum up my life..the most miserable existence in the history of time.” ..and why would they even risk the pain to ink themselves in honor of him? He’d have trouble wrapping his head around it..yet, still, kind of appreciate the pain part..might of done that to himself with his own symbols if he’d made more than a shit paycheck.

So, there’d be this sense of unworthy uncomfortableness for him over such permanent public displays of devotion. Followed by a ‘but, hey, if the tat gives you a sense of happiness and personal inspiration then who is he to tell you any different, man..?’ I don’t think he’d feel it was stupid or ridiculous that people have done it but more of this sense of intimidation that they/you would give him such gravity and reverence. He’d not quite own that ‘It’s better to have nothing than be nothing.’ line of his. Which is good, actually.. Because he had that fifteen..er, forty nine minutes of ‘godlike’ and realized it was nothing more another ‘fake reality’ – now it’s just humble reality. 🙂
