Does brooks still live in Littleton?

No, Brooks lives in Southern California and works for James Cameron’s company Lightstorm Entertainment and is working on Avatar and other games products.   Before then, he lived in the San Francisco Bay Area as part of George Lucas’ entertainment gaming company, LucasArts, where he worked on Lego Star Wars and other gaming products.  He avoids Littleton and has run away from (and disowned) his hometown for good it would seem.  Too many bad memories for him there to even hang with the family for the holidays even, it would seem.

This post will be deleted in a couple of days.

What do you think about Judy and Randy Brown?

Decent people, conscientious parents, very aware and sharp but Columbine became an unhealthy obsession which they will always feel unsatisfied and unrest about. Randy still fights whenever and wherever he can in the name of ‘justice’ (whatever that means anymore).  It took a massive chunk out of their lives.  The Klebolds and the Browns used to be good friends because of their sons’ friendship but Columbine changed all that, and caused a permanent rift.  There are probably quite a few other families in Littleton they have lost friendships with as a result of the tragedy and in the pursuit of ‘justice’ as defined by themselves.  I like the Browns well enough to enlist them to aid me in my fantasy time travel to stop the massacre on 4/20.  They are nosy and assertive and the perfect tough-as-nails parents to make it their tenacious business to help Time Lordess me stop the tragedy from occurring. 🙂

Why was the bullet Dylan shot through his head never recovered ?

The bullet that caused Dylan’s death was not recovered in full and was never traced to a specific gun. However, there was 1.5″ of drawback in the barrel of the TEC-9 that matched Dylan’s DNA, a considerable amount of draw-back present. None of his blood was found on or around the barrel of the only other 9mm weapon which was Eric’s Hi-Point 9mm Carbine rifle.

Do you think Dylan had committed suicide if I had not met Eric ?you know by depression..

Dylan had the potential to commit suicide even if he hadn’t met Eric but not necessarily as strong of pro-active motivation to realize his suicidal ideations into reality.  Joining forces with someone that was like-minded in having destructive dreams like Eric had was the catalyst that focused Dylan and kept him on track to become more proactive in turning his fantasies into reality. Eric was like the spark, the ignition, that lit his fuse.

Do you think dylan would go to a date when a girl asked him but he dont have a crush on her?

It would depend on the girl and how earnest  she was in asking him out.  If she was spunky and smiled a lot, possibly?   I think he might agree and give it a try too just because he wouldn’t want to hurt her feelings by turning her down. Quite frankly, I think Dylan would’ve been stunned if a girl, any girl, asked him out. In his own skewed negative self perception, Dylan saw himself as invisible with women and he thought girls hated him so avoided him altogether. They paid more attention to Eric or other guys.   He judged himself as unattractive and since he was shy (and knew it), he felt he had nothing to offer personality wise and believed that no girl would ever want to go out on a date with him, let want to go out with him so much that they’d actually ask him out.

Dylan started smoking before August ’97. He smoked with Zack Heckler and even wrote about it in his journal. I believe he smoked during the rebel missions too. That puts it pre Jan ’97 and Jan ’97 to the latest because they were still doing rebel missions most likely October – November ’96. Brooks Brown confirmed this when he said in his 10th grade year that Eric and Dylan shot bb or paintball guns to kids on Halloween night, and Eric and Dylan told him about this and “laughed about it”.

Correct, Dylan started dabbling in smoking cigars, heavy liquor and shooters type drinks in Sophomore year ‘96-97. In his journal entry dated 7/23/97, Dylan laments the old days with Zach “we did cigars, drinking, sabotaging to houses, EVERYTHING.”  Rebel Missions were most active in the ‘96-’97 time period though Eric only mentions dabbling in heavy liquor and smoking cigars in the Mission accounts.  I can see how my lackadaisical punctuation in the previous ask might have caused confusion.

Dylan didn’t try cigarettes and weed in August ‘97.  The Diversion questionnaire is specifically asking him about marijuana and drug use.  Dylan offers that he tried marijuana in Aug ‘97 with his brother out of curiosity. Dylan most certainly had to have been smoking cigarettes before Aug ‘97, and I see it as a natural progression of him messing around with smoking stogies with the boys on Rebel Missions to next moving on to smoking cigarettes.  By the time Dylan was answering questions on the Diversion File in March ‘98, it seems likely that he was already a fairly regular cigarette smoker. The diversion questionnaire does not seem to ask him about cigarette use which is odd as it’s also a substance but that’s probably because back in the nineties cigarettes wasn’t much up for consideration as far as addicting substances. There is more awareness about that today.  I’d say that not only were his parents shocked that their son had used alcohol and smoked pot but that they also had no clue at this time that he was already a fairly adapt menthol cigarette smoker if only part time on school grounds or in the company of friends.
