I don’t think Dylan really made a conscious decision to choose a suicide that had margin for error and possible complication instead of a guaranteed swift death.  Dylan seemed to have not considered anything beyond instantaneous death after the bullet from his Tec-9 shot through his brain. Thoughts of blood filling his lungs and him possibly gurgling and drowning in his own fluids never even once entered his mind.  As evinced in parts of his journal, Dylan likely fantasized quite a bit about several different ways he could commit suicide over the last two years so he probably had an idealized notion of how his ‘final act’ would play out with instant finality by his suicide weapon of his choice – his Tec 9. After all, in Dylan’s autopsy report it was recorded that he placed “a large calibre (9 mm), copper-jacketed bullet in his right boot.” which wouldn’t at all have been of use in any practical way seeing as it wasn’t installed in a clip.  It seems to have been a more of a romantic aesthetic for him, a kind of perverse lucky piece to add to his NBK uniform more than anything else.  I also tend to think that his preference was to die more intact rather than to pulverize his whole head off with his Savage double barrel shotgun plus..He may have come to a sort of conclusion with his practice at Rampart Range and in actually using it for kills during NBK that his double barrel was all kick and largely a lousy shot. Maybe he realized this blowing off part of Lance Kirklin’s jaw that the Tec would be more streamline and rapid fire and so would be a clean, instantaneous death.  He may also have considered using his 9 mm out of partially consideration on his parents behalf given that he removed and collected a small pile of his personal jewelry which was found by his body. Whereas with Eric, he knew there was only one way he could carry out his own suicide because he wanted to get the job done as swiftly and as instantly as possible. In a sense, Eric carried out his own execution with military perfunctory precision, knowing exactly the body position he must be in as well as the angle his shot gun must be in for maximum, effective ruin. There was also a part of Eric that was so utterly self loathing and contemptuous of himself at that exact point in time, that obliterating his head into a blood pulp seemed befitting for himself because it’s what he deserved: total annihilation and eradication. In the end though, I don’t think that Dylan was really ‘there’ while his body struggled to purge the blood out of his airways. His body endured the pain but his brain was no longer there in a conscious way to process it fully as ‘painful’.

Per the autopsy report, Dylan’s secondary cause of death was aspiration of blood in the lower airway and lungs. Before he expired, his body involuntarily (and unconsciously) went through the motions of choking and coughing up blood that was drowning his airways, preventing his body from normal breathing. He may not have died crying but I think it’s safe to say that he did not just simply die peacefully either.

That part about whether they can destroy a vital piece of evidence is inconsequential (and it’s been mentioned a gazillion times here on Tumblr) because Jeffco claimed publicly that the tapes are destroyed.  Who is going to dispute that?  No one can do anything, according to Jeffco the tapes are irretrievable.  Sure, we can all read between the lines and go ‘yeah,sure, the physical tapes were destroyed but we know better, you have digital copies, don’t you, fuckers?’  or ‘yeah, we’re wise to you guys because the FBI surely has digital copies’.  But again….. it doesn’t mean shit because Jeffco’s public announcement is final and they are not budging any time soon..because they can’t..tapes are gone, remember?

I don’t think they were getting into the technicalities of what age is/isn’t considered a minor and in which state, anon. The way I read it, what bothers them is that Dylan is a teenage boy so considered in general “a minor” most probably by the majority of the US anyway. They do not want people asking questions about a kid not yet eighteen that only serves to feed into (the many) anons’ own sexual fantasies preferences.  Yes, I do believe that’s it precisely..  😉 

No one sees the Basement Tapes. Not since until maybe one year after Columbine. Then the tapes went under lock.  Brooks becoming an adult doesn’t mean anything.  Jeffco doesn’t make concessions for anyone at all and now won’t at all ever since they “destroyed” them.

There isn’t anything to go on specifically that would indicate he might specifically like pee play. BD/SM is a pretty broad spectrum of the kink genre. Dylan’s mentioning that he had a ‘bondage extreme liking’ does not necessarily mean that in addition to tying up or restraining his girl,  he’d also be enthusiastic about pissing on her too as a way to dominantly mark his turf in d/s degradation/humiliation play. It’s possible?  But I’m inclined to say that he wouldn’t have too much interest in play that involves degrading a real girl friend. Oh, sure the porn he watched was probably rough, super controlling and inhibiting with the possibility of humiliation and degradation but you also have to understand that personal fantasy porn outlets enjoyed alone, by himself, in his bedroom does not mean he’d necessarily want to objectify and treat his girl like a toilet by pissing on her or in her mouth.  There is simply no way to conclusively link a possible enjoyment of piss play along with his ‘bondage extreme liking’.  To be perfectly honest, when Dylan mentions the term ‘bondage extreme liking’ , you might automatically assume that he would be the one in-charge, tying up his girl  – but things aren’t always that clear cut with sexuality and just becomes he is male, does not necessarily mean that his fantasy preferences have him being the one dominating and in control. There is a good and likely possibility that since he also appreciated foot fetishes that he (also) had a turn-on that included a desire for subservience and potential humiliation upon himself. Does this mean that Dylan would want a girl to piss on him?  Nope, not at all. Enjoying foot fetish play does not necessarily mean that his Halcyon ‘Goddess’ is going to want to piss on him too – the act is not necessarily mutual inclusive with foot fetish play.  

I’ve mentioned previously here that I believe with the abundance of Libra energy in his astrological chart that Dylan was much more complex in his sexuality and that he was likely turned on by both dom and sub roleplay and could easily be a switch – just as much as the chameleon he was in his daily life in his interactions with people.
