Answered before here 🙂
Brooks was 6’5 that’s so fucking tall
Mhmm. I think there’s something in the water in Colorado the way suburban sprawl like Littleton seems to produce such colossal teenage boys. I’d like to see Dyl, Brooks, Zack and Eric walking side-by-side to really get a good snapshot of the height difference. 😉
Do you think if Dylan hadn’t gone through with NBK, he would have eventually commit cuisine anyway? Or do you think he would just go to college and grow up and find some sort of contentment with living?
Well, I know how much Dyl looved food and I do believe he liked to dabble in cooking french egg cuisine dishes so just for that sake alone, if he decided not to go NBK, who knows? He might’ve been a master chef on Food Network committing killer cuisine dishes for his own show. 😉
Ahem. Ok, in all seriousness… Dylan was struggling with chronic depression and also was trying to manage it all on his own without reaching out for help, so whatever he decided to do after high school would’ve been likely as much of a struggle for him as high school had been. Dylan might’ve thought that leaving the town that he despised and going to the hot, dry, foreign desert landscapes of Arizona would’ve been that ticket to a fresh start, a way for everything to start looking up for him for once. However, what if things were not going his way – the specific way in his mind’s eye he expected things to go? So, he would still have been susceptible to those impulsive suicidal thoughts whether it be not doing well enough with college grades and still running empty on the motivation or not being able to make new friends the way he hoped to now being in a completely new town where no one knew him or whether that one girlfriend he managed to date five times and finally have sex with decided to friend zone him and date other guys. There’d always be something that didn’t quite turn out the way he’d hope because, hey, that’s just the way life is! And so the question becomes: would Dylan be able to cope and handle those external life struggles living independently from his parents? There would always be something that would test him and given that he was not getting therapeutic help, it is likely that he might’ve made suicide attempts. There comes a point when Dylan’s self-reliance would hit a breaking point and he’d find himself alone in his dorm finding it easier to solely decide all alone to take matters into his own hands and opt out rather than bother anyone about his sadness problems. For Dylan to have conquered the depression he would need to have taken the first step and admitted and confided in someone that he had a problem and he would need to go get help so that he could manage his illness and ways to deal and cope with daily stressors and triggers. So, if Dyl hadn’t gone NBK, suicide was a strong potential outcome without getting the help he desperately needed.
is it possible that Kevin and Byron knew each other, or knew of each other at some point before the shooting? Do you think the Harris and Klebold family ever discussed the shooting and van burglary with each other?
I don’t believe Kevin and Bryon ever associated. They probably knew of one another because of their brother’s friendship but Columbine HS is huge, we’re talking 2,000 plus kids. I don’t think Kevin and Bryon mixed because they didn’t have the same circle of friends. Though the Harris’ and the Klebold’s may have met in a cursory way regarding the van theft with both fathers showing up in court to escort their sons for their sentencing, I do not believe the Harris’ or Klebold’s ever connected to discuss the shooting. It was just far too awkward for them to manage. I think at a certain point they should have made attempts? I believe this would have helped both of them with the healing process to commiserate about their common ground over their sons as well as the mutual isolation as outcasts among other people. However, the two families never seemed to manage the courage to reach out to one another over the past sixteen years. And at this point, it would probably seem like reopening major wounds though, still, I feel it would ultimately be good, a cathartic release for both families.
Can you show us how Zach Heckler looked? (besides his yearbook photo because in his yearbook photo he looks completely different from his class of 99 pic where he’s with brooks, eric, and Dylan with a gun stance? And was he a tall guy and did he wear trench coats?
This question got asked before so I’d posted a montage of Zack photos here
This is Zack circa 2006ish in his mid twenties. I don’t think Zack was particularly tall. I’d say probably 5′11 – 6 ‘ at the most? He’s much more stockier in build than say Dylan (6′3) and Brooks (6′5) who are quite tall by comparison with those long, skinny physiques (see side-by-side comparison below). Despite Zack being best friends with Dylan and a tenuous friend of Eric’s, he did not feel the need to participate in the trench coat look. Of the three boys, he was the ace computer wizard and probably taught Dylan a lot of stuff as well as how to do the sound and light tech stuff in theater. Zack became President of
Aspire Technology Solutions, Inc. in Denver, CO. (I’m spelling it “Zack” unstead of “Zach” because this is how Dylan spelled the short version of his name.)

So what you feel about eric? (I’m other anon)
Well, for starters, I feel like [ ———— r e d a c t e d——————– ] so yeah, that about sums up my true feelings on Eric. 🙂
Is there any more about Devon? She seems really intelligent and kind :)
Devon’s ‘Art from Ashes’ 10th Anniversary 2014 Speech – This is her most recent commentary, a wonderful example of her intelligence, wisdom and kindness. Devon really does get the full picture simply because she was caught in the middle, friends with the killers, ‘best friends’ with Dylan and friends with the victims (including Rachel) of those killer friends of hers. Ugh. How does one even comprehend that and reach a resolve? Quite a very odd uncomfortable place to be. But she has managed to grapple with all of it over the years and maintain a very healthy, unbiased perspective that stems from love and understanding as result of being smack dab in the neutral that is ‘Switzerland’.

Yep Eric question here. How did the mortician reconstruct Eric’s face/head? I heard somewhere that if the damage is too great it can’t be done.
Due to the extensive damage and obliterated facial features it’s a given that his small family-only funeral was a closed casket one.
i feel like you hate eric
Nah, he’s not on my “You know what I hate?” list if that’s what you ‘feel’.
How I feel about Eric is more complicated than simply hating him. The majority of the world already does hate him, all due to his own invitation, and that’s just far too pat and easy. And I think he might appreciate this ‘gray’ type of answer, yes. 😉
when Eric and Dylan killed themselvs if their souls left their bodies like right after did they see eachother? That would be weird to be there physical and then the next min see each other in soul form
Dylan and Eric left their bodies on independent journeys towards the spirit realm. When you’re born into this world you are alone and it is the same as when you die and are reborn back into the spirit realm. This transition from the physical to the astral is all about yourself and your perception of how you lived your life. Once Eric and Dylan began to leave their bodies, they were experiencing that process on their own and having their own unique experiences. It was no longer about ‘them’ influencing one another through their co-dependent friendship on the earth plane. After death it begins to be solely about each of them as individual souls. They would eventually see on another again in spirit but soon after death it’s all about processing your own personal life experiences independently.
when eric and dylan died were they standing or like on their knees when they shot themselves
Dylan was kneeling and Eric was sitting with his knees bent up towards his chest.
Do you know if either eric or Dylan read Fahrenheit 451?
Since this book is considered required reading in most US High Schools, I’d say, yes, unequivocally.
I wish dylan was alive.
As do we all. 😔 It’s ironic that we know of Dylan now because of what he’d done, you know that thing he did? and so we lament and regret the tragedy for him whereas, if Dylan had chosen life and to persevere and live the best of his ability to adulthood, we would never have known of his ordinary existence at all. It’s an unsatisfying trade-off isn’t it? I think the later is the better scenario even though most of us would likely never have known or crossed paths with Dylan Klebold at all. I prefer it to the thought of him living trapped in prison which only could only have ended badly for him. So, yes Dylan’s chance at life is gone for good, as that particular incarnation anyway, and he as that person we’ve come to know is never going to be here again as unique as he was – but, as Sue Klebold once put it “Dylan will live on within our hearts and minds.” Dylan’s spirit is fully conscious of the the depth of feeling from all of us in a enormous (sometimes overwhelming?) collective way; the impact of the unconditional love and understanding, the caring for his well-being despite the devastating mark he’d left on humanity’s wake. Heck, it might even be nearly enough to counterbalance all of the hatred and ignorance that still holds sway. In your wish that he were still here, just know that he is very much in spirit and so use the great and terrible path that was Dylan’s life as inspiration to do better for yourself in honor of him. And talk to him even. ☺️
But YOU don’t find eric attractive?
I don’t ?
Cool cat Dyl jazzy whistling and snapping those lovely fingers ..and also the mystery of who exactly said ‘ketchup & cinnaminis’ ..solved. 😉
Snippet of the Breakfast Run Video – filmed April 19, 1999 – the day before the Columbine massacre. Dustin Gordon, driver, Dylan Klebold, jazz whistling co-pilot and Eric Jackson, filming in the back seat, This is for a “Looking” video production project in which Dylan planned to entitle it ‘American Dream’. Of course, he’d never submit it seeing as he’d be dead the next day a little after noon.. Subtitles by Miss Everlasting. 🙂 p.s. Notice how soft Dyl’s voice is and he sort of slurs his words together i.e. “sal’n pepper”
Burger King customer service: Here’s your change, ketchup, salt and pepper?
Dustin Gorton: No
Dylan: Salt and pepper? or as Dylan slurs it “Sal’n pepper?
Dustin: Ketchup, salt and pepper – NO.
Dylan: Yeah, a little ketchup with my cinnaminis..
Dustin: haha
Eric Jackson: yummy, yummy
Dylan: …maybe some pepper
Dustin: Better hurry up. We’re making a video here, hurry! c’mon!
Dylan: *begins whistling some elevator music”
Dustin: (discusses editing of their video they’re shooting)
*mumbles something indistinguishable*
if we do it right, we can throw in some good music.
Dustin: “(approximation)….that part where my ass goes around the corner *makes tire screeching sounds*
Eric Jackson: heh
Dylan *still whistling away*
BK: there you go; you have a nice day
Dustin: thank you!
Dylan: *stops whistling*
Eric J: do do do do do do
hey what’s up? Quick Question why were beanie babies used to cover Dylan’s head during his funeral ? I know we are talking about 1999 here but did the funeral home struggle in covering that up ? Was the bullet hole that obvious ? :(
I think Dylan’s family partially used the Beanie Babies stuffed animals to cover up the entry and exit bullet holes left by the 9 mm bullet that went through his skull with his Tec 9 but also, they just wanted to surround him with stuffed animals as a way to remember him still as their lost little boy. The irony is that according to Devon, Dylan disliked Beanie Babies yet, he still shelled out money to give her the Ant Eater Beanie Baby as a birthday gift. It was something he knew she really wanted. It might be possible that when Dylan was younger, say early middle school years, when the Beanie Babies first came out in ‘93, he may have acquired a small collection of the stuffed animals along with other toys that accumulated in his room and so as he got older, he just sort of disowned all his ‘baby stuff’ as older teens are apt to do. And Sue, like any mom, would’ve held on to those childhood nostalgia stuffed animals/toys. Maybe she thought it would be a fitting touch to surround her son’s head and gently cover his self inflicted wounds with the symbolic comfort of those childhood memories by way of his old Beanie Baby collection. It’s possible she collected them too.
Below is the size of an entry and exit 9 mm bullet hole so you can get an overall idea of approximately how big and visible the wounds were on his head. Keep in mind that they wouldn’t be as perfect as these depictions because we’re talking a blast out of brain and skull matter and gore, the holes might’ve been a bit bigger and messier. I’d imagine the mortician also smoothed his hair over the holes to cover it up somewhat and then just loosely placed the Beanie Babies around his head.

Omg could you please post that audio of Dylan laughing? ☺️ I don’t think I’ve ever heard it before. lol
I just posted the clip. 🙂
Dylan playing Soul Calibur with probably Zack and other friends (?) and laughing like a high octave goofball to someone going “Get the fuck out! Get the fuck out!” in Donald Duck speak.
You’ll hear Brooks’ voice, and then Dyl’s, near the end of the clip while you see the visual of Zack with his baseball cap on. That is just the audio bit from the Frankenstein Roast; the documentary over lapses the audio of the Roast over the game playing sequence. It’s slightly confusing..
do you think dylan cared about stretch marks?
lol I’m sure he had a vague knowledge about such things and certainly no criteria for or against them. No, I honestly do not think he would care one way or the other. I’ll hand it to you, that’s a pretty unique question there..
Yeah, he may have had a few stretch marks himself growing that fast but I really don’t think he was that superficial to judge anyone else for having them.
